This is very nice, Fin. Good job on the fur.
ollie_aplin (Jun 30, 2004)
Fin, this is insane. Its literally brilliant!! I especially love the fur!
Pantera (Jul 1, 2004)
I agree, great job Mr. Fin, I love it :)
laurael (Jul 1, 2004)
Wow, Fin...this is awesome. The texture and lines reminds me of Dino's and Zep's styles rolled into one, but 'you' did it so that makes three styles rolled into one...this 'is' brilliant...way to go!

This is excellent, may you should put the wing of a alien ship ready to destroy
the city...or you can just ignor me lol!
thug (Jun 30, 2004)
Nice pic, I'd love to live in a city like that with a high rise appartment looking out into that sunset. Great colors! I especially like the red lights.
Pantera (Jul 1, 2004)
Now this is my kind of city :) away from all, good job :)

I had a couple of minutes, and I liked using the airbrush to make the glowey things, whatever they may be. ^^ I just may become obsessed with them...anyways, this might become a background for a picture that is yet to be drawn. ^^ I know its weird....

Gigge (Jun 30, 2004)
It would make a cool background. Looks kind of like a balloon send off.

Yay! You finished. I like the way the sky emphasized the center spire. The pic really has a spiritual feel.
emmamommalag (Jun 29, 2004)
Very nice! I like the lights here and there.
Zack (Jun 30, 2004)
This is great. One wonders what kind of society dwells in these spires.

(i'll use a lock that has no key/aren't you in chains/that no one else can see)
(let the water creep over your face/i'll send it in waves/just to watch you perform the great escape)
(how long can you hold your breath/while you hold mine again and wait/just to watch you perform the great escape)
(i'll pull your arms tight behind you back/use myself as weight/and wonder while you fade)

Nice ripples in the water. Pretty blue.
emmamommalag (Jun 29, 2004)
Pretty water but it doesn't look like he's escaping.. more like drowning.
Ameraq (Jul 1, 2004)
wow...This picture simply beautiful! The color of the water (or..large expance of blue) is great especially with the highlights and glowy spots ^_^
emmamommalaq- since drowning usually ends in death and death can be considered a means of escape, then this person could technically still be escaping ^_^

It looks like him because I thought it looked like Mr. Bean before I read the title. Black Adder Rox.
emmamommalag (Jun 30, 2004)
Yeah.. I can see a little Richard Nixon in there, too.
Pantera (Jul 1, 2004)
lo, I love Mr. Bean too :) looks like him, good job.
Anna (Jul 12, 2004)

Lol! This is clever, laureal. I love that little green birdie's facial expression!
Gigandas (Jun 30, 2004)
Hehehe, funny to think he's flying with such a fragile looking cape XD.But man, I'd stay away from that guy, looks like he could stand quite a beating. The bird is great too with that face of his XDDD.Nice one, laurael :).Just wondering but is the green bird like his sidekick?XD
laurael (edited Jun 30, 2004)
Naw...he was just flyin' along and got frightened by such a 'bigger' creature flying. That cape happens to be his 'recieving' (or baby) blanket. :) which is just for 'super hero' looks and security, btw. (He can actually fly without it)
Gigandas (Jun 30, 2004)
lol, I thought he was always frightened to be his sidekick XDD.Must be a magical baby too to be able to fly without a cape.Even Superman needs a cape....well now this guy can show him off can't he ;)?

hi gigandas..no idea...mostly start without an idea or model...somehow the drawing itself manage its development..."if it´ll be possible"
..hey knockoff, zack...one question...what LMAO means?...thanks a lot
pd: hey purplellama, dónde es más barato vivir, barcelona o valencia? estoy tratando de tomar un doctorado en españa...y la beca que me gané equivale a unos 1800 euros x mes
Zack (Jun 30, 2004)
LMAO means "laughing my ass off." Seeing the surprise in this made me crack up, as it really caught me off guard. This is an amusing picture even without the surprise, but the surprise makes this quite clever.
zep (Jun 30, 2004)
well thanks for the explanation and your gentle words...hey for the collab thing, think that the naked guy could be a giant or the little guy could be a doll....it´s a matter of points of view, isn´t ?................have another one word, what´s Huzzah?
whitebunny1063 (Jan 29, 2006)

@!*@%^#$%#! Lascaux! This was really a hands study, http://www.reinhardschmid.de/myhands/photos/hands35_2g_s.jpg. The background was just because I've been working on faces and light and dark.

Thanks for all the compliments and especially the suggestions on how to improve. They really help me.
laurael (Jun 29, 2004)
Wow...the hands are so realistic...and I love that ring. Fabulous job, Gigge...wow. :]
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Jun 29, 2004)
Very nice hands, and good distribution of light and shadows. Love how the ring and the irises match.
JackSprat (Jul 26, 2004)
All I can say on this one, is Wow! The details on wrinkling and texture on the hands is fantastic.
