I really had fun doing this piece. It turned out better than I imagined. :-) I can definitley see an improvement in my work now. I wonder if I am yet able to advance to the next board or do I still need more practice?

its pretty good, nice pic... but i think u still need abit more practise.. the colours look flat, plus theres no highlights and shadin... also the line art is kinda jaged, maybe u should use the pen tool or watercolour tool to get smother lines... just a suggestion anyway...

I don't know this character, but he's very colorful. I think Sal's right. This is awfully cute, but playing around with shading might be good practice before trying an 'intermediate' piece.

Looks like a wedding photo. Very pretty picture. I agree about the blending, it could use it on the fleshy tones.. the face and neck primarily. Other than that it's really good.

I can't get past the thought that this guy looks like he's takin' a leak..... would anyone else like to work on this? I'm tired of it.... I'm callin' it done, but there is more space if someone wants to do whatever to it...

Don't give up on it.. hell you could put a fishing rod in his hands and it wouldn't look like he was takin a leak! lol And have him fishin on the edge of a lake. Who knows. Is a good start to a picture though.
