I know what you mean. I HATED v1 and wished I could cover it up completely...yuck. On the other hand, I couldn't delete it because 'I' love v2...guess sometimes, ya gotta take the bad with the good. :p
Gigandas (Jul 20, 2004)
Yeah, I've had that problem with several pics here^^;.Like my self portrait for one, being that it looked like I was wearing a wig for couple of versions before I got it set in the right spot^^;;;;.Another one would be Neo, looking like a potato wearing sunglasses in the early stages >.<....
laurael (Jul 20, 2004)
That's why I like doing as much as I can in one sitting, but sometimes, life interferes...so you have to submit...but 'you' know all that... :)
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Sep 13, 2004)
WOW, laurael... I was just strolling through your gallery... and KABAM... this is totally cool. She is... well, she's neon!! That's what I call a glowing tan. Completely original and creative and executed nicely!!! I don't know how I missed this when it was first posted... all the good stuff seems to slip past me.

Thanks everyone...it felt good doing this one.
damnskippytakn-a-break (Sep 11, 2004)

I know that this isn't very good, and I know that it didn't take me very long but....*yawns*....I spent the day in the garden....for hours nonstop, and I am falling asleep at the computer, so I will work on it some other time.....*falls asleep*.....

LovelyLori (Jul 30, 2004)
I cannot draw a good face if it's facing left or right... unless it's a cartoon.... I feel your pain, but this horse is beautiful

This is the genius smurf. Look at the size of that cranial cavity!
Aubrey (Sep 2, 2004)
This is cool D.. the pose reminds me of an egyptian. Maybe that's how they made the pyramids and Sphinx, they had alien help lol.
Gigge (Sep 5, 2004)
I love the background. Thought my monitor was playing tricks on me as I was scrolling.

wow! very nice and a very difficult subject it looks like. Great job! looks like an origami frog to me
strangeoid (Aug 22, 2004)
*nods* Marcello's right, it's balancing on one side of it's belly. I'm having a bit of trouble with the table to make it look like that, though... : /
left_hander (Aug 22, 2004)
its great jossy wonderful!!!!!!!!1 you keep up the good work (lover)!
Gigge (Sep 5, 2004)
I like the title. I thought it was a beetle at first. I was looking at it backwards. Very cool how the frog looks so much more real than the rest of the image. I like that effect.

Well, this is my first time drawing in aaaaaaages (Except on iSketch, of course!)
I don't like the applet I used very much (blurring didn't turn out right), so I'll try a different one next time =o)

This applet is really the very best one... I wouldn't recommend using the blur tool at first, anyway. It's really mainly to pull a main subject forward by blurring a muted, unimportant section of background behind it. (At least that's the most useful thing I've found for it) A little blending on the clouds (the blend tool in Lascaux works really well on low opacity and low flow) would give you a better effect than blurring, anyway.
davincipoppalag (Sep 4, 2004)
Yay!~ WFlag!! Great to see you here!! The applets are a bit different from the old place, but don't give up on Lascaux..I love it (mommalag don't) hehehe
emmamommalag (Sep 4, 2004)
Waterylag!! Yay! It's so good to see you here. Your first pic is very nice. It takes awhile to get used to the tools... don't think I ever will.. but if you have tons of time to mess around, you can make some pretty decent pictures. Keep at it! (((Watery))))
Gigge (Sep 5, 2004)
This is very calming. I like it.

Awesome! The lineart look(ed) really nice.
Urei-sama (Sep 5, 2004)
alittle more definition where the lineart was and this would look supurb, even though its beautiful nonetheless
Gigge (Sep 5, 2004)
Hehe, not fancy, but still pretty. But, yeah, a little more shading wouldn't hurt.
