Inspired by a picture I saw of an Indian mother carrying her baby on her back. I loved the picture and just had to try to draw it.

Hahaha, this one looks like it comes from personal experience. I sense a story or two. :)
LovelyLori (Aug 8, 2004)
I live with my son in my father's house... my father is a strict marine(you know, always a marine)...this was something I always feared growing up, 'cause I had a punk streak in me.... now I wonder what will happen if my son tries to "express himself".... lol that's all to this one

I made up my own caricature this time...But it reminds me of that guy from the movie "Scarface"
He gets thrown out of the helicopter w/ a rope around his neck.

Good job on the lounge lizard D.You really caught that "pseudo-suave" personna.
Aubrey (Aug 7, 2004)
In a way he sorta looks like the bad guy in The Mask also. Cool picture DMV. *offers mister suave a light*
Gigge (Aug 7, 2004)
*whistles* Studly, indeed. Great perspective on that cigarette.

Here is the reference. I didn't really want to post it because the photograph is so much prettier than mine. However, I wanted you all to see that the neck is supposed to be curved around. Hope you like, I had fun drawing it :)

thug (Aug 3, 2004)
Great job on this one! Now I want to draw another bird. You really needed alot of patience to draw in the feathers.
emmamommalag (Aug 3, 2004)
Wow, star! This is fantastic... wonderful job on the feathers. It looks so soft and the eye is so real.
Gigge (Aug 7, 2004)
The feathers do look soft and as if they've caught a bit of air in them...billowy. The texture on the beak is really nice too.

That rocks! Nice work, dude.
Actually, JackSprat called for Robot Week. I wanted to, but I was doubtful that anyone would be interested.
DMV (Aug 3, 2004)
yes it was Jack who called it:) Thug is da man!
JackSprat (Aug 3, 2004)
Very cool pic! Immediately brought to mind the ultimate robot artist, Hajime Sorayama. Anybody who hasnt seen his stuff needs to do a google search.
Oh...Phil Hale and John Foster do some pretty awesome robots too. LOL.....the wheels are spinning.....
Gigge (Aug 7, 2004)
Amazing. You draw robotic sharks as well as you draw real ones.

I love this, longway. Yes, you are getting better and better. It's almost like a photo. I love her eyes, especially.

davincipoppalag (Aug 4, 2004)
This one is excellent! Great face, terrific shading
Gigge (Aug 7, 2004)
This one is a little more defined than some of the others. And, it's lovely. I really like this one, Longway.

what a cool picture! I love the colors and the texture of it. Very very nice! I have to tell you a secret, when I'm showing friends this website I always take them to your drawings along with DBA's. You two are my favorite and absolutely phenomenal!
Aubrey (Aug 6, 2004)
lol awwww how shweet!! Thanks Trigger :-D and DBA I'm pretty sure there ARE such things as dust bunnies.. and well.. if there are dust bunnies then one can only conclude that there are other dust animals.. I'm sorry, I'll look under your bed for ya from now on lol. Yup I was up all night drawin again Momma and Poppa. *hugs and kisses*
ironoxide_red (Aug 6, 2004)
This is probably the most ethereal looking caveman I've seen (usually they're all earth colors)! I really like that "shadow-with-highlights-in-it" in the area under his chin.
Gigge (Aug 7, 2004)
Very nice. He looks like he's just been thawed out of an iceberg.
