There are a bit too much (to me, anyway) of comments that say "wow" and "awesome" and the occasional "glomps". While my point is NOT the "rules about comments" (DON'T try to argue with me) the praise is meaningless now. any picture thats any good or if its anime gets all these comments all the time. now praise seems to mean practically nothing. What's your opinion?

Sarah that picture looks totaly awsome i like the baby killer whale, i love the water and icey suroundings..I also likes how the picture keeps its detail even at 250% zoom...I've noticed you don't post many pictures over the year but, when you do they are gr8. |

woaw, i absolutely love this... but i personally would've put more of Adam (Yahzi) in there along with Nick... but yea it's still freaking amazing.also.... how did u translate those sentences into Navajo, that's no easy task. they're interesting btw... the sentences that is. |

I had a lot of fun looking at all the funny gnomes. Everyone did a great job last week. I usually decide on a contest idea and then write a story about it to help inspire people who arent sure how to approach the contest. But I decided to open it up a little and get help from real writers! This weeks contest is: Contest Week 4: Choose your own adventure!: Illustrate a scene or idea from your favorite book! I agree with JK, awesome game. I even saw the trailers to Disgaea 2, and it looks like once again, we're gonna have another game that just completely rules :). I think the old characters are gonna make a comeback too, although we do have new main characters. Can't wait... |

Well technically you could call anyone with an addition of "-chan" but I think it's mostly used for kids/pets (kind of a cutesy way to call them I guess). After all, my Japanese friends' moms used to call me with a "-chan" ending when I was younger :-/...-Actually, I just remembered I call my Japanese grandparents "Ojii-chan" and "Oba-chan" too. So yeah, there's basically an all around use, but you wouldn't wanna call your business partner "-chan" cause that'd just be weird. In more proper cases like that, you might add a "-san."

Constructive criticism? I think constructive criticism is more specific than just saying someone should add more shadows and highlights. You might say where they'd put them and how they would go through with that to fix whatever problem. Generalizing as you have here is about helpful as saying you dislike the picture and someone asks what it is you dislike, and all you have to say is, "I dunno, but I don't."
