http://cc002.k12.sd.us/soaring%20eagle.jpgThe Dalliance of The Eagles Walt Whitman Skirting the river road, (my forenoon walk, my rest) Skyward in air a sudden muffled sound, the dalliance of the eagles, The rushing amorous contact high in space together, The clinching interlocking claws, a living, fierce gyrating wheel, Four beating wings, two beaks, a swirling mass tight grappling, In tumbling turning clustering loops, straight downward falling, "Till o'er the river pois'd, the twain yet one, a moments lull, A motionless still balance in the air, then parting, talons loosing, Upward again on slow-firm pinions slanting, their separate diverse flight, She hers, he his, pursuing.

Love it! The focus to the front and faded out facet to the rear is lovely....nice focal point to the subject of this drawing. Love the water drip and chrome shine to it too.

very cool pic gel-o, I had a tree just like that in my woods behind my house while growing up. It was huge, full and round, but it was also a great tree to climb! I would climb to the uppermost brances and just spend an afternoon gazing out above the other trees. I could see for what seemed like miles...It was the most peaceful times I can remember, sometimes the whole neighborhood would climb into it's branches and we'd play I spy, or truth or dare, a lot of wonderful times in that tree! thanks for the nugget of memories!

My daughter took ballet for years, I tribute this to her. I am beginning to understand the tools better, this one drove me nuts then I discovered the button that puts color behind the top layer......duh......was going nuts.
