I was floating in the forest one time, and then when I stopped floating and I came down, I realized I shouldn't have been sucking on the Peyote cactus out of the bluff right on the edge of the forest.

I just had to say something 'cause when I first started using this site(and was just experimenting), he accused me of wasting time on a picture I did >:(... and yes, it was a really sucky picture... but...
marcello (Mar 23, 2004)
yea well, I'm a bastard. if you didn't figure that one out back then.
LovelyLori (Mar 23, 2004)
now I never said THAT
Doodlibop (Mar 23, 2004)
...but he did. He always calls himself a bastard. So, like he said he is, he is. ^^

Lucifer was a magnificent being who once occupied the realms of Heaven. But his jealousy and rebelliousness caused him to fall out of the Heavenly Kingdom; him and many of his comrads. Where he now resides is our humble planet Earth. He lurks among us, trying to get as many souls lost so that they too may not enjoy the wonder and inexplicable joy of Heaven. He no longer goes by the name Lucifer, but rather by the names Satan, the Devil, that old Serpent, the Prince of Darkness and the Father of Lies.

not to seem narrow minded, but this is probably my favorite piece on here. I think it's absolutely stunning and flawless in every aspect :) my only complaint is that you don't make more like this ;P
Doodlibop (Sep 30, 2003)
~sniffs~ thankyou safescene. that has got to be one of the best comments I've ever received for any of my works.
fleeting_memory (Feb 25, 2004)
This is my favorite of all your art-and I love all your art-the concept is so heart wrenchingly well portrayed-the shame in the fall of his head and closing of his wings because he realizes what he has done-you captured the moment of dispair perfectly-you seriously inspire me to draw(even if I'm not as good yet) don't ever lose your imagination and talent
Doodlibop (Mar 23, 2004)
8D! Oh that was such a lovely comment! Thank you Fleeting Memory!

Marienkind (edited Mar 17, 2004)
(pokes finbeast) though i'm a happy agnostic meatball, i'll have to say otherwise. the historical jesus did exist, anyway. Cornelius Tacitus (20 - 117) was a non-Christian Roman who wrote a book on Roman history and mentioned a man as "Christus".

"Christus, the founder of the name, had undergone the death penalty in the reign of Tiberius, by sentence of... Pontius Pilate, and the pernicious [or wicked] superstition [Christianity] was checked for a moment, only to break out once more, not merely in Judea, the home of the disease, but in the capital [Rome] itself, where all things horrible or shameful in the world collect and find a vogue."
dixielandcutie (Mar 17, 2004)
took the words right outta my mouth marien...was indeed a historically documented person and was indeed put to death by the at that time common practice of crucifixion...whether or not you affiliate that with anything religious or spiritual is up to you...
Doodlibop (Mar 23, 2004)
Yay! Though easter is as pagan as they come, I still will lift my hands and shout Hallelujah! Jesus thought I was worthy enough so He died for me!

Thanks! This is really nice! ^^
