he needs a name. something cute maybe. like pooky.back from toronto. went to the toronto comic arts festival. bought a sketchbook called hive. got Ramon Perez, Eric Kim, and Atilla Adorjany all to sign it and draw me stuff. theyre awesome. and i met cool people like becky cloonan. it was awesome. and im inspired to draw lots now. whoo. i also picked up some other crap. postcards and stickers and stuff. some "priest" comic that looked pretty and wetmoon. it was lots of good art-related times.

I keep seeing this huge nose on his forehead, but I think it's supposed to look more like the brow and eye-socket area. Nice flame bg. I was checking out the links today, cool stuff, definitely going to give it a second look later.

aha i kinda see what you mean on the nose. but yeah its supposed to be his forehead coming down into an eyebrow type thing. which is kinda strange seeing as how he doesnt have eyes ANYWAYS. but hey. |

For those who enjoy classical-style piano, I just wrote and recorded a new song this evening on my keyboard. Here's the link: Minuet in D Minor (mp3 download - 1.8mb) Be warned: it gets much louder in the middle of the song! This is an actual songwriting effort on my part; usually I just record improv piano. Took a bunch of tries to get a recording I liked. What do you think? Should I bother writing it down ...

This is a picture out of Marvel Knights "The Punisher" #35. This is when Daredevil, Spider-Man, and Wolverine take on the comic hero The Punisher. I am a 16 year old guy, so don't be surprised that I read alot of comic books.

Whoa, this is "good" work for anime. I too applaud well done execution in anime although I'm not a big fan of it. It's nice to see confidence in the piece.

It would've looked real if not for one thing: not so much of it can touch the ground. I think usually only two or three points touch the ground, and that's intense lighnting. But, hey, what do I know? Great job, better than what I could've done. |

Thanks everyone for your encouragement. :DYeah, Zack, the muzzle is too small and there are a number of deviations and errors. I'm not sure I have the patience to correct anything in this one though. I'll have to try to stick closer to the reference in future realism exercises.
