This is just a random picture in which one character is pointing and the other is looking off. The background.. is supposed to be a roof, but I really have no idea what perspective/horizon (etc) are xP. Anyone care to explain where the vanishing point (?) should be o_0;? |

Hate hate HATE these things.... Gave me a shiver all the while I painted it. Had to walk away a few times... The only good thing is I haven't gotten sloppy using a mouse.... God i hate these. Brrrrr.The antenna may be a little off but I can't look at this anymore.

Ohh, I must have missed that one Poppa, I LOVE Black Widows (I know wierd right?) They're just so beautiful with that red hourglass on their stomache. And well who doesn't like an insect where the female calls all the shots ends up getting satisfied after.. *heeheehee*Thanks both of you.

Just some quick practice sketches to warm up.Used a reference of a tortoise for this one: http://www.backfromthebrink.org/speciesimages/13/1_gopher_tortoise.jpg. Tried to emulate my pencil technique with the tablet, but it takes longer and doesn't look nearly as good.

Nice loose reference work. I like your hatching; it makes for a very illustrative style. I think it'd be cool if you made some of these pictures like they were pages from some fantasy logbook.

I think the back edge of the building would be conisdered your horizon line....I am a bad explainer and not so good at perspective myself...so maybe the links can help me too.
