oh mann thats an intense mud picture
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Dec 15, 2005)
Mud is never evil. Why, you can go "muddin'" and get your truck all splattered, you can make mud pies, you can put on a bikini and mud wrestle, you can go to a spa and get covered with it to make your skin softer, you can throw a glop of it at your brother... how can mud possibly be construed as evil?
TaCO (Dec 15, 2005)
Evil is as evil does:P
davincipoppalag (Dec 15, 2005)
This one was bad to his mudder...that's how

I've had success with this shading technique and I rather enjoy it. Used a picture from FHM as a ref.

is still wild in Mingus, Texas. Sometimes the population gets up to 215 or so on a Wednesday, but on Saturday night they always bring it back down to 212.

this is really nice, cindy =) i've always wanted to go to texas, it seems like a lovely place.
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Dec 14, 2005)
heh, yeah, it is, but Mingus is not where I'd recommend that you visit. :)
Axil62 (Dec 14, 2005)
I like the shadow on the post the most. is that guy a ghost? (tried to think of a way to work in the word "host" or "roast" but, no nope)
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Dec 14, 2005)
Yes, he is... I think you can see through him. When I was 5 years old we were in Strawn (it's a couple of miles from Mingus, where my grandparents' ranch is) in this cafe called Flossie's, and this really bowlegged cowboy came in and I swear his spurs were really jingling and he was covered with dirt, and he said really loud, "I'm gettin' marr'd in Mingus tahnight." I remember wondering if he was gonna take a bath first, but I don't think it mattered because I hear she was widowed before the night was up. :) That could be him.

this looks really nice. good job, dan.
Axil62 (Dec 14, 2005)
I spose I could polish it up, but ... nah, it's just some strung out jackass from the 60's.
DeadlyBlondeArcher (edited Dec 14, 2005)
He scares me. When I move over, his eyes follow me.
edit: that's funny, I was just reading the comments... I always find it amusing that there's no time slot for us, people don't get that we saw the latter part of the sixties as small children... so we know about it, but our fun was in the 70's :) wait! I'm still having fun.
Rosemary (Dec 14, 2005)

Well, no, I'm Cindindyhopper, actually, for real, but I think the names were changed for the protection of the ... "innocent"? I still can't believe I didn't know this. Grinch is my hero... and ... well, I'm speechless about the whole thing, and that I could be so ignorant and not know, or remember this.

Felistorm (Dec 13, 2005)
It even has that tv screen type look to it! This is great.
SYTHE (Dec 13, 2005)
I love that song about the Grinch. Very nice and seasonal picture. Love your work!

Thanks Dave and Caddris.
The wallpaper will be explained in a drawing, I promise! It isn't hard to do and you may find it fun! ^0^
Shoebox (Dec 13, 2005)
I have an idea of how you did it, but I'll wait 'til the drawing.
Aboslutely stunning, looks like she's waking up from a good nights sleep. I hope to someday be able to do figures like you.
The blanket is also quite lovely.
