I live fairly close to the Grand Union Canal (south of B'ham), and this picture looks tremendous. The wrought ironwork in the foreground adds depth - I look forward to seeing this finished :)

Here's a thing that just happened:
I was downstairs smoking in the other computer room, and when I was coming back upstairs to this one, there was an open pack of paper towels down there where she keeps them until they are needed. Well, I look over and see it right? But it's a little further away and in a position that I couldn't see it quite clearly enough. The package comes as a three pack, three rolls of paper towels in a pack. So I look over at it an I can make out "3 pack" on the plastic back packaging see...but at this point I'm not sure about things and I think "Is that three rolls of toilet paper? It says 3 pack. Because three rolls of toilet paper end to end are about that size and it says 3pack...no wait, the pack is open and partially empty...nope, that's a roll of paper towels alright." then I did a quick thing in my mind about 3 across for paper towels, or three across and three down if it would have been toilet paper. But since it said 3 pack and it was partially empty, yup yup...paper towels...definitely.

His hair looks like it has those sparks in it like you get when burning ashes float up from a campfire. Matter of fact, his whole hair "do" thing looks like a campfire. I love it. Bored and tired all at once sucks. Hope you got some rest.

KGH: You need to see more art then. This is a good piece but it's not superior or even that interesting, imo. This is more of a reflection of another artists perspective (the original photographer), opposed to being a true, unique connection with the subject matter. The girl who painted this piece was more of a "spectator" than an artist, at least from what I knew about her. Some people think they can just dabble in anything, come and go as they please but in the end, they'll never truly gain anything from the expereince. True expression takes dedication, understanding and sacrifice, I don't see any of those qualities here.

... is so destructive. It's like a parasite, feeding off it's host until there's nothing left to feed on. This is really cool... the colors, the shapes, and the way you got such expressiveness to come out with such abstract features.
