I'm working on a piece right now and I tried to use the magic wand/move tool, which didn't seem to work and I pressed undo till it said no more undo's, fine, so I've been trying to just normally paint but now none of my brush strokes seems to appear. There are no masks, I've tried on both layers, I put opacity and flow to max and there's nothing, no brush strokes. I don't want to upl;oad this till I'm done. Someone please... HELP! I'm on Lascaux.

whatamessI was thinking while I was painting this about how I keep my oil paints in a big tackle box and I would always squeeze the tube wrong and the seam in the back would break or the tube would get a hole in it and while I was painting I'd get all engrossed in what I was doing, squeeze the tube to replace a color I had run out of, and paint would squirt out from 3 different directions and then I figured, why bother putting the lid back on, and throw it in the box and then the tubes would stick together and dry up. I wonder if anybody else is that sloppy.

I think I don't like red, but then I'm always attracted to these paintings that are all red. I like that my eye goes to the focal point in the center and all around, and back to the focal point. I'm not sure what it is but it doesn't matter, I like it because the composition works like that.

You are such a sweet person, Donna, and I am really thankful to know you. I'm thrilled when I inspire anybody to do anything (well, besides scream and holler at me, which is what they usually feel like doing :)(she has very pretty spring green eyes... I think she might have to shed that fur coat pretty soon, though... I've been wearing shorts and sweating here already... whew, it's HOT in Texas)

Poppa, of COURSE....lol thanks Cindy! When I learn to be a better artist, I'll draw her wearing shorts..lol. The eyes are my favorite part. Drawing ANYTHING even kind of realish is so hard when you're 'wingin' it. I didn't use any ref but my head.
