thanks both of you! although i know there is much definition needed to make it great... even though, i think the shaky lines gives it a watery effects, so i wont retouch it.

Not freaky, usually... goofy and cute. They make me smile. Turtles carry diseases you know, go wash your hands. :)I forgot to say that what really initially attracted me to this is the shadow and highlight effect you used with your "signature" earthtone palette, I love it. You should do this same thing in a serious piece sometime, it's really effective.

Both of the revisions are really good. The depth in this one, not just from the background but, from the face and everything in the bird is really cool. Almost feels alive.
