this is real nice-me likey lots-helps that I love dragons and these look like dragons. I love the tequnique you used for the clouds-the edgyness of them lends itself very well to the picture

Yeah I agree, the colors go so well together. At first it reminded me of the movie "Birds" for some reason.. like crows flying in.. I dunno. At any rate this is great. I love the sky and how open it feels and the dragons definitely add to the coolness of it all. |

Thats a good idea Biopsy, I colored on a pig once, with makeup pencils, in Biology class. We dissected it, then I gave it a makeover. HAH! Hurry up and finish this one, Icats. I'm hungry for porkers.

I drew this very sad pic just to show what happened to me earlier...(I am too busy at the moment to make a good one)I took the dog out for his umpteenth leak of the day, and I was standing in the middle of the yard, when a purple finch comes fluttering all around me! It then landed on my stomach for about 5 seconds, then flew to a nearby tree and just looked at me for the longest time... It's paying off, all these bird drawings I've been doing, I'm tellin' ya!

Damn, how come I only attract bugs? I can tell lots of stories about me beating my own ass trying to get a bug off of me, but never a bird. I also attract the strangest people in line at the grocery store too (fyi). Love the picture, you are a trip Lori!

It must have been tellin' ya to draw a finch next. I only seem to attract bees...it all started when I was 5 and got stung on the top lip. No matter where I am or what I'm doing...bees. One even 'dive bombed' me over and over, to the point that I had to scram for the back door and couldn't get back into the house fast enough, lol.

You mean the artist doesn't have the artistic license to put a relatively small subject on a larger canvas? I mean, what if that is part of the point of the drawing? Or you just happen to like it that way... I don't remember seeing anything in the rules about moderators choosing your canvas sizes? Maybe I missed that section... Oh, and I don't see that as *empty* space... It's wide open pink space. I like pink and I like wide open spaces. I wouldn't want my arrowhead cramped into a small space. ;)
