These make me happy, too... I had some sprout up under a bird feeder in my yard from the seeds that fell out.. they are blooming now. :)

this looks like a pretty darn good example of how the brushes are in lascaux..nifty job, see ya
emmamommalag (Jun 1, 2004)
Ahhh sunflowers.. very pretty, Icats. I think it's pretty neat how sunflowers always turn their 'faces' to the sun.
davincipoppalag (Jun 2, 2004)
All your stuff makes ME happy. This is a wonderful sunny picture. It has that sort of Van Gogh brightness and life to it.. wonderful

He don't seem to bothered by it.
The vamps face is cool.
The shine on the hair on the normal bloke looks wonky somehow...
I like the pool of blood on his colar bone. :)
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Mar 7, 2004)
Let this be a lesson to you kiddos. Don't go around telling ppl to "Bite Me". Somebody might just take you up on it. lol This is really an interesting drawing. I like the way she has her fangs and her claws in him pretty tight.
shorty_sal (edited May 31, 2004)
Dont vampires usually bite on the jugular.. therefore she'd b biting the other side??

emmamommalag (May 31, 2004)
I always liked Gumby, too. Not sure but I think it is still (or again) on.. anyway you can still buy the figures and other Gumby themed toys. Great pic.. as usual, DMV. :)

Nice, portraits are my kinda' thing. Your art is great; I insist that you post more often, for the sake of my sanity and of others' :P
Supergurl103 (May 31, 2004)
wow, this is pretty, it's ok if it's not perfect, no one is prefect :) i think this is good ;)
Aubrey (May 31, 2004)
Hey there Mr. Jimsan!! This is a really great picture, nice indeed :)
DeadlyBlondeArcher (May 31, 2004)
I didn't mean the picture's not perfect, Supergurl, we were talking about the country not being perfect. I think the picture's probably closer to perfect. lol :D

This is really nice DBA :).The little scratches you can make out on the surface all the way up to the light reflection, man, that's pretty awesome XD.Even did a great job on the metal.
Zack (May 31, 2004)
hmm, I'm out of those, but I do have ones with various good adjectives, such as AWESOME, SUPER, and BOOTYLICIOUS. Take your pick.
Knockoff (May 31, 2004)
This is so awesome dba.
You rock with this stuff. I love the flashlight, and the reflection makes it look like its blue steel or something.
Awesome shine too.
DeadlyBlondeArcher (May 31, 2004)
Whoo, thanks ya'll... I had fun doing this one, but was afraid ppl might find it a little boring. ZACK! I want the bootylicious sticker of course!!! I want two of them! :D

I spent alot of time in college learning anatomy by braille.........
Kloxboy (May 31, 2004)
I can show you anatomy studies I did from high school, labeled individual parts too. My college studies are much better though. If you're interested in seeing either of them Kasha, I can send you an E-mail, or anyone else for that matter.
Kasha (May 31, 2004)
you studied anatomy in highschool? :( arrrgh, what the heck did I learn in highschool? CRAP! The only classes that I had that would help me out with art is the basic art class. One freaking semester of art! OMG!! I am totally art deprived. Truthfully, I never thought I wanted to be dealing with art until my freshmen year. Thankfully summer is here, now I can indulge myself with artful things. :D :D :D :D!!
DeadlyBlondeArcher (May 31, 2004)
The best way to learn is just to do it, anyway. Observe the best you can find, study it, and try to emulate it. An artist cannot be taught, only "awakened", anyway.

In the background ,I made an eye in the storm that's supposed to be GOD's eye looking down on his son. the red in it ,is to show that he knows what he went through. I tried to make it look like it was windy but didn't come out right .if anyone has any pointers it would help alot :)

This is really good, you put together a great composition. I see where you tried to make it look windy, but since you can't actually see wind, you'd have to put something visible blowing in it. Very sparse trees all bending tensely in the wind, maybe, would look good in this one.
RabidMalikFanGirl (Mar 14, 2004)
Awesome work ^^ As previously stated, the color scheme is very fitting and adds the the picture as a whole :)
What's even better is that I'm wearing my Passion of Christ t-shirt! It's so nice... And comfy!
DMV (Mar 14, 2004)
thank you all for your input :) trees blowing in the the wind would have helped but i am not sure there was any on golgotha.thought about putting in rain but i wouldn't even dare to ,I'm not that good LOL! thank you all again for the comments:)
emmamommalag (May 31, 2004)
This is wonderful, DMV. You could have made their hair blowing in the wind, I think. But it looks great as it is and says so much.
