Something about red hair appeals to me..hehe glad you tested the applet first. Her eyes are really pretty.
BlueDreamer (Jun 5, 2004)
Her Eyes are very enchanting and have a good contrast to the color of her hair.
davincipoppalag (Jun 5, 2004)
You choose the most beautiful eye colors.. I don't like this applet either, but mostly because I can't remember where everything is.. (I do like that watercolor tool though)
emmamommalag (Jun 5, 2004)
Ditto to what everyone said about the eyes. Talk about flaming red hair! Wow! :)

Thumb looks a bit too long? Cute pic..
Knockoff (Jun 2, 2004)
Hah, thats pretty cool.
Though I agree the thumb is a bit to long.
Zack (Jun 2, 2004)
That's probably an effect of cropping and perspective. Plus the knuckle is a bit low. The thumb doesn't seem long to me, probably because I can picture what the rest of the hand looks like.

Wasn't exactly making my best anatomical effort either. :P
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Jun 5, 2004)
OMG! This is great! How'd I miss this? LOL The paper looks real... shiny and crinkledy and sticky and stuff! Stickers make me happy :D! Thanks, ZACK.

Haha.. Ha.. e_e My bad -- I totally left 2draw. *Groan*
Ty854 (Jun 3, 2004)
Is colorist a word? oh well you are great at coloring and shading.
Kloxboy (Jun 3, 2004)
A colorist is not only a word but a profession. There are 3-D art colorists, comic book colorists and sometimes a colorist refers to someone who understands color theory. Also a colorist is also a name for a hairdresser who specializes in dyeing hair. I suggest you look it up if you don't believe me.
Ty854 (edited Jun 5, 2004)
I believe you. well then i guess theres only one thing i can say to that: you and porcalein ARE both great colorists.

I adore this. They are in my car! I am thinking of remodelling my guest room in 50's stuff... I have so much of it collected. This would be perfect. When can I pick it up on a huge canvas? lol
foxman8245 (Feb 24, 2004)
Is that J J Jimmy Shtewert?? Awsome drawing, I also would like one on canvas heh-heh!
strangeoid (Feb 24, 2004)
Ya know.. that guy does look like the Jim-Stew. The retro-ness is absolutely spiftastic. Your colors make me want to watch Leave It To Beaver...
Ty854 (Jun 5, 2004)
This reminded me of bonnie and clyde..... except the girls hair. Cool pic ^^

April Fools!
marcello (Apr 1, 2004)
Yes, I know that was bastardly. For those of you that missed it (or want to relive the moment):
I am pretty sick of this. So much crap and lack of funds have brought me to this. It has been fun, but all things must come to an end. R.I.P. 2draw: April 2002 - April 2004
I had plans for a rather more elaborate and interesting joke, but they unfortunately fell through. (How much planning should one put into a silly thing like this anyway...?) One thing is for sure...

Oooooh.. I love these shades of blue. Very nice picture, Dark. Looking forward to seeing more of your work here.
Thear (Jun 3, 2004)
Welcome! ^^ heh..That's pretty good to firs draw! it's much better than all my works together x)
concannon (Jun 3, 2004)
Personally, I think the eyes are lovely. Wonderful job for your first picture here. Next time, I think if you just blend the face/skin/shadows a little less, you'll be fantastic.

Hey, this is a neat idea for a drawing - don't you love the way these applets will produce the "light effects" they do? You can borrow my flashlight to find your way around in there, if you need to. lol
emmamommalag (May 29, 2004)
Really cool! I love those shades of blue.
Knockoff (May 30, 2004)
Woaw, looks like my brothers.

clock dem hoes! hehehe no don't clock dem hoes!~~~
this reminds me of oekaki-shi because it's all fuzzy and cool
ShadowKitten (Jun 2, 2004)
i think its cool how the clock is emphasized because the background is blurry
Kasha (edited Jun 2, 2004)
cool, where exactly is this at? I've seen one in Houston at Bank Of America in downtown. I used to see it all the time when I would wait for my mom to get out of the elevators. Except the one in the bank has this lil door in the base of it and I would always imagine a lil goblin makes the clock go tick tock. Nice work. :D
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Jun 2, 2004)
This one is in Houston in The Plaza. There is a door in the back of it and there is an oil refinery grease monkey monster that operates the clock. lol

You're doing some stuff I didn't know you could do lately star. I'm impressed! This is nice, but I think it could use a bit more definition in places. The features look a bit blurred to me (could be just me?) ,but overall this is quite good.
DMV (Jun 2, 2004)
I like how you used halftones for the BG and like a watercolor effect for the little girl:)
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Jun 2, 2004)
I think the bright, somewhat blurry and soft effect is very nice. It looks like she's outside at a lemonade stand in the bright sun.
