Because everyone should have a lipring. Only, one that looks more real than this one. *should have grabbed a mirror* Newish style for me, kinda likin it. There, I think that's a bit better. I used a mirror this time, lol.
I love piercings, they don't bother you at all, but only get them if you actually want them. Otherwise bad things could happen. I, myself, have 8.
davincipoppalag (Jun 16, 2004)
That's way better! 8 piercings??? ouchies.... At one time I WAS considering having my eyes pierced.........(oooohhhnooooo)
Childlike_Vampire (Jun 16, 2004)
Yay thankies!lmao eyes pierced? It can be done.. lmao, that's a serious ouch. But they in general don't hurt even half as much as you'd think they do. And 8 is nothing, my best friend has 15, most of them guaged. She's crazy, lol. *could talk about piercings all day long but will refrain from text abuse* :P
Supergurl103 (Jun 18, 2004)

40 and Over Vision WearWear these and you'll be able to: -Alienate and be alienated by younger generations. -New styles of music will make you feel ill and very disturbed. -Refer to the "good old days" once or twice a day. -Reject anything that poses a threat to your routine. -Be skeptical of new ideas, feel threatened by change. -Remind anyone younger than you that "you know better". People will notice something different, something older about you, but what could it be? Just tell them "I just got me a new pair of 40 Vision's! They're Swell!" BUT remember, you don't have to put them on ...although, if you don't, you won't fit in and even worse...you won't be swell.
davincipoppalag (Jun 18, 2004)
My philosophy on that is, if you keep your toys and an appreciation of toys, you won't ever get "old" in your mind.
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Jun 18, 2004)
how comical, and yet, how true. I think most of the time I wear my "16" vision glasses... I'd like to stay just terminally in a permanent childhood. You know what this made me think of, Clox? You are still in your twenties, right?... when I was twenty-something my Grandmother told me that somewhere around thirty my "eyes" would behave like a snake shedding it's skin and I would see everything in the world so much more clearly. At the time I didn't understand what she was talking about, but sure enough, around 30 something happened and I did view things with more wisdom and understanding. Don't you think that would make a great drawing? A person with snake-skin eyes peeling off? It isn't something I could draw, but I bet you could do it! (please? :)
cmb (Jun 18, 2004)
Whoo hoo! I can wear a pair of 44's now!
Aubrey (Jun 18, 2004)
Agreed on the toy issue! You're only as old as you feel, and most people feel like kids again when they have a toy even if they're 90. If ya ever hand an old lady a doll she had as a kid I bet she could remember everywhere she played with it growing up. Time makes you age.. but the kid in you stays forever. hmm guess they don't have 21's.. dernit.. ah well, I can wait a few months for the 22's |

I don't know why I drew him. I don't even know how i can remember him since he never plays. Maybe I am still in awe of the fact that the Pistons took him in front of Carmelo Anthony. I guess it worked out for them though.
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Jun 17, 2004)
Eleven minutes? I am just amazed at how quickly you do such great pictures. It takes me more than eleven minutes just to figure out what planet I'm on and what language to draw in. lol
davincipoppalag (Jun 18, 2004)
Yea Dino..you work fast. You captured that "eastern european look" .
DinoFlorist (Jun 18, 2004)
Well 11 minutes has always been my magic number. This is the first time I've really utilized layers, and it really helped. |

Our vacation to the beach house is only a couple of weeks away...yay(This didn't take me that long on the last edit - I had to stop a million times and do a bunch of junk I didn't want to do)
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Jun 17, 2004)
Hah! uhuh... thanks for *getting that*, Laurael. :) (I don't know, though, one of the things I had to stop drawing to do was to have an argument with my husband, so.... LOL) I won, of course, though. ;)
emmamommalag (Jun 17, 2004)
I love the colors in this, especially the water. Very pretty. :)
davincipoppalag (Jun 18, 2004)
That's the purdiest shade o' brown water I've ever seen mizz Cindy lol from the look of whats goin down behind that umbrella,, I can guess how ya won that argument! lol nice pretty pic..(and I'm lookin at a similar scene right now..course all the blondes are about 60 and they got their suits on) , but it's ok..cuz I can't see that far anyway lol
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Jun 18, 2004)

DeadlyBlondeArcher (Jun 17, 2004)
This is very nice, it reminds me of folk art or something.
emmamommalag (Jun 17, 2004)
Yes, it does look kinda folk artish. You're doing good so far. Pretty grandma. :)
davincipoppalag (Jun 18, 2004)

why whatever do you mean....i don't know what you're talking about......................... =P
davincipoppalag (Jun 18, 2004)
Yea ..you can't beat this... (sorry..it begged to be said). Cindy adheres to that old custom of grabbing the heart of the fresh killed game and takin a big ole hoffin bite of it (the hunters always get the prime meat)
misterjimsan (Jun 18, 2004)
if you eat it's heart you gain it's courage |

Trying to draw water.. for the first (and probably for the last time) x) i tried to draw it from this pic
davincipoppalag (May 28, 2004)
Very ambitious to try from that pic! You've got a good basis here but do what Cindy suggests and it will be better!
KiwiKitsune (May 28, 2004)

This is my first oekaki ever! i just joined 2draw yesterday so hello everyone! I'm still trying to learn the tools and coping with super-lag on my computer (i have to change windows just to see what i drew) so if you have any tips on minimising lag or using the applets or just comments on my picture, thanks a lot!
mortalpoet (Jun 11, 2004)
Hey welcome to 2 2 to 2 to 2Draw! As far as the lag, I find that drawing something then pressing undo refreshes the image. Hope that helps! Whooooooooooooooooooooooooooaaaaaaaaat!?
Childlike_Vampire (Jun 12, 2004)
Hehe welcome, I love your rockstar, he has a sweet guitar. Cute lil sign, too, lol. Don't worry, people are generally nice to newbs around here, as long as you make sure you read therules, and use common sense. As far as using the applets, I think the most amazing and fun thing I discovered when I started here was the wonderful things layers can do for you. :D Have fun!
squee (Jun 16, 2004)
aww its cute.. Welcome and hope you like 2draw.. nice job
DeadlyBlondeArcher (edited Jun 17, 2004)
Yes, layers make all things possible, but you might stick with the Lascaux, in my opinion there is no comparison. It rocks. Even if you have no idea how to use it, if you just play around with it it won't take long to figure it out.(And if you have any questions you can memo me and maybe I can answer them, I don't mind) The lil wanna be is very cute... tell him even Mick Jagger started out as a wannabe. LOL |
