thank you my warm and sensitive friends. I love this song, but thank God it's only a song and I'm still sober after 17 yrs / March 12th, 1989. YEAH!!! (don't want my long distance buddies to freak out and start thinkin I may have fallen off the wagon...no way Jose. I'm too high on my life to not "be all there" to experience every minute!)

I had to make a poster for my daughter's Senior graduation banquet consisting of tons of pictures from her life, I'm putting some of them in a yahoo album... this was one of them. I hate cats and it's a ratty photo, but I think it's so cute and I wanted to share it. We came by this cat because some horrid woman in a store parking lot just handed it to her and said "can she have a kitty?" O...

for a first painting, that is really not bad at all.... if you use the blend tool on a low opacity (on the flesh and the hair), and then go back and re-define the details, I think you'll be happier with it. My favorite part of this is the eyes.

So for some reason, my friend posted this pretty cool drawing yesterday, I think, maybe the day before. So I decided to draw something on my practice exam today instead of even remotely pretending to pay attention. This is a rough translation of what I drew (too lazy to go scan the original). I still need to work on the sketch a bit, but ya, whatever...

i really like this....

i do believe that pound for pound, and body to brain size, jumping spiders are the "smartest" creatures on the planet. i remember seeing it on the discovery, i have a photo of a green one i hope to do soon!
