My grandma was an artist. She loved to paint. Mostly flowers and young girls sitting in gardens. She loved seeing me draw when I was little, and she was so proud of me as I got older. She wanted so badly for me to go into an art field. When she was in the hospital, I drew a cartoon of myself on the little marker board that she was facing. She told me repeatedly how beautiful it was and how much she loved it. She always told me that I was so gifted, that I was better than she was, even though it mostly wasn't true. She was so proud of her granddaughter 'the artist'. I only hope that I can continue making her proud as she watches down on me.edit: This is NOT a painting of her.

lol i know very scary indeed O.o although the i dea of spider rodeo clowns made me laugh it took me a while to get the right expression...i think i would just go into an instant coma if i actually witnessed anything like this hehe thanks i really tried my best with this one i need some more practice with a mouce but i think i'm improving

Contest Week 27: HELL! Your goal this week is to illustrate what you think HELL is and/or looks like. I don't suppose anyone here might know anything about this flower? My wife, Niphaphone, has been growing this plant (it's from someplace in asia. Supposed to be good luck) for over two years. She said that it's tradition or folklore that if one want's this plant, they must steal it, because if the owner of it chooses to give it to someone, they are giving all their luck away.
