Bravo..nobody does this kind of thing better than you.

this is great. I love all the little details and how you always actually put backgrounds in your pictures. Makes it really enjoyable to look at.

rofl. very comical XD <33 poor ted. And I think those burgers had so many calories it kept itself alive long enough to evolve with the bacteria. So it's actually living and it's waiting for that archeaologist to get closer so it can eat him!... o_o; hi. :D

I also love how they have flashlights. You'd think they'd advance a little if it's been so long AND THEY'RE ROBOTS. xD <33333
SneakyWalter (edited Oct 19, 2005)
Actually, I think the burgers have petrified by now, and the archeologist will sell them to the U.S. army (or where ever he's from) to be used for armor reinforcing. He'll get rich off of it and start his own Grease Drive-Thru.
strangeoid (Oct 21, 2005)
ROFL. This hearkens back to that classic documentary "Super Size Me." On the dvd version, they hold this experiment pitting the rotting time of McDonald's food against regular resaurant burgers and fries...

Guess which didn't rot! XD

I don't like winter, It's evil.
laurael (edited Oct 22, 2005)
I like winter.
Snowball fights, building forts and igloos and snowmen, sledding, icicles, snow falling on your upturned face, catching snowflakes on your tongue, white covering everything, sliding on the ice and falling on your butt...yeah.
Nice pic...great style.
Sweetbriar (Oct 23, 2005)
Great concept. It's very nice and smooth :)
Renuar (Oct 27, 2005)

Frantic firing erupts from the defenders as they make a last ditch effort to repulse the armored behemoth that relentlessly advances towards them. As ammunition begins to run dry, the hapless guardsmen fall into disarray. The bravest surge forward to engage in hand to hand, while the meek hesitate and prepare to take flight. They will not get far. The Sanctuary building they were ordered to defend will become their tomb.

Maybe someday I'll get off my butt and do a comic, but I need more practice. :P

this is really good dark...killer´s face is deep
DarkCloak (Jan 23, 2005)
Thanks guys. This was actually inspired by music. I was listening to some random internet radio station and they started playing some sad tune with a choir and a thunderstorm in the background. I thought "Hey, it would be cool to do an animated short with that tune." But seeing as animation is very time consuming, I decided to go with a comic instead :P
JK-Arts (Oct 16, 2005)
This is awsome. it seems like a page out of a good comic book with a good story wich is rare, Good Job and i totally dig your style s much detail and all your work is very complete and perfect.

the song "On the gooood ship, lolli-pop" keeps running in my head

It reminds me of that old strip "Dondi" about the Korean kid who was buddies with the G.I.'s..

I think the background could be a tad less faded, because I didn't notive until a minute after looking at this. I really like the details and scenes in your drawings.

There was a constant rumble and the ground trembled as the two lines charged each other. Their shields collided, producing a great thunderclap that was quickly replaced with the sounds of clashing steel and screaming men. The fighting lines devolved into a swirling melee of death. Chaos reigned. It would not be long before one side buckled under the pressure and routed, turning the battle into a slaughter.

The picture seems to be divided into two down the center when i look at it carefully, only penetrated by the spear... Excellent. =]
DarkCloak (Jul 4, 2005)
I've been spending way too much time playing video games. Some of these games are just too addictive. :/

omg, do you illustrate wheres waldo? :D

this is awesome.
dragonsouls787 (Jul 19, 2005)
I really like your style on this pic. It's almost like a "where's Waldo?", except that it's a war scene. Its got a cartoon~ish feeling to it, but it has a realistic quality that makes you look at it for the detail. Good job!

"This is six, someone get him off my tail! I can't shake him! YEeeagh! I'm burning! I'M BURNING!"

"Six! Bail Out! Bail Out!"

A pilot scrambes to bail out of his burning plane. Every second counts, as at any moment the aircraft could either explode, or pull into a deadly spin from which there is no escape.

Inspired by Marcello's awesome dogfight below.

Why the hell has no one commented on this yet?

Like all your pictures, this one rocks. I love your style, making you one of my favourite artists on this site.
davincipoppalag (Mar 13, 2005)
Nobody does anything like this but you DC..another terrific illustration.
Zack (Mar 13, 2005)
Yeah, you always do great stuff. I'm curious, have you heard of Square I? They're an Australian animation and illustration group, and your work strongly reminds me of theirs.

Subject: Feeling a little down.

Well, I just got back from that tour of Black Mesa, it was rather boring, but on the plus side, they were handing out free tacos. Though, I think I might have caught something, ever since I returned home I've had this splitting headache. My skin seems a little dry too. But, I'm sure it's nothing too serious... It's probably just a cold or something.

Love yah, mom. XOXO
