The muscles protude only at the sides. The back of the hand is lean and tendinous, with the muscles situated between the bones.

1. The transverse ligament fastening the tendons together
2. Interosseus dorsalis muscle
3. Extensor digiti Vth proprius muscle
4. Abductor digiti Vth muscle
5. Extensor carpi ulnaris muscle
6. Extensor digitorum communis muscle
7. Dorsal retinacular transverse carpal ligament

The rhomboideus muscle (4,5) originates on the spinous processes of the last two cervical and first four thoracic vertebrea and inserts into the medial border of the scapula. It adducts the scapula towards the midline.

This is my OC Detective John Mackers. He's fun, if I do say so myself.
Ref. used to draw the pencil sketch, and then the pencil sketch was used to draw this. I'm glad it tured out this way. The pencil sketch looked like Tom Cruise. *shudder* This one is a least a little less Cuirse-esque.
