i did another picture similar to this a while ago but i accidentally pushed the "back" button and lost it
i've been wanting to recreate it ever since...

Gross! I like his claw's.. His expression is kinda weird though, he looks like he's yawning, not like he's scared or anything..

i think you succeeded in the horst-like style, but maybe you should leave out the blur thing and use sharper colours
but it is good!

cute. i like the light and dark porportionz (i'm just using big wordz that aren't really big, and i dont quite understand) I really like the dark eyez in the back and the kodama is really cute. ^^

You should get one of dem hand manniquins. Another way to learn is to make a pose with your hand, and try to get the same image down on paper. And I mean PERFECTLY. If a line ain't perfect, draw the line again. Its a good discipline (did I spell that right?) and patience exercise, and If you do a good job you will be very proud with the results! ---okay, don't do that. Most people would get extremely frustrated and never finish the hand. So um. Yeah. Get a hand manniquin.

I think this is one of my best oekakis. =D If you can't read the words, they say (on the top) "I want to be a bird and hold onto my shining dreams" and on the bottom it says "I want to be a bird and fly to my dreams on these wings called courage"

You should try adding some shadows to your drawings, it'll give them a lot more depth.
