I don't know if this is quite intermediate level, but I tried. I saw a butterfly that looked similar to this, and I wanted to draw it. And it was fun. Once again...I am going for my original idea...with black...and a little color. |

supermatthew (Jun 28, 2005)
this is realy good, i like it alot, the grass on the left looks better then the gress on the right
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Jun 29, 2005)
I like this because it reminds of the desolate place in New Mexico where I went mule deer hunting... there's this one hill with a single tree that you can see for miles almost...use it to find your way back to camp... they call it the lonesome pine. It's not even a friggin pine tree, either... I have no idea... but I like your picture. :)
milenka (Jun 29, 2005)
very realistic, i love it!
Namori (Jun 30, 2005)
-.- no wonder u posted in the intermediate board....YOU'RE SO GOOD!!!! T.T i could never draw landscapes and skies like that...i can only draw people.... |

Wait....I see the finger too! O_O I can't see the face very well but it looks like he's saying "go to hell!"
R. (Jun 29, 2005)
He definitely has mixed feelings about fatherhood.
ambermac (Jul 5, 2005)

fleeting_memory (Aug 7, 2005)

A request by my brother Dan.Not very good compositionally, but man this is so old. >_< I'd be glad to do a new version if you want, Dan.
Zack (Jun 29, 2005)
Yeah, I'm a lazy bastard. My bro is waaaay too easy on me. :X
brenndurdrykkur (Jul 1, 2005)
this is cool, the style is really great
fwl_forever (Jul 3, 2005)
Yeah, I am way too easy on you. Hey, if you're not doing anything (ha-ha!) and you feel like it, go ahead and dazzle me with a realistic composition with the van in it. Maybe a whole future city street scene complete with 24th century bystanders, vendors and vehicles! Yeah. That'd be cool. Yeah.
Zack (Jul 3, 2005)
Wow. You're a really optimistic guy aren't you? ;) Just kidding, sounds like a cool idea.I'll be working on it! Right now I have a couple semi-major projects to finish (a cool picture request and the 2-point perspective tutorial) before I get serious about your request, but I'll put some sketches up soon and see what you think about them. Remember to nag me about it! It might do me good to have some deadlines or something too. Hawhip-crackahhh! |

It looks like an alien with a big brain! Awesome! <:D|XOD|
George_Goat (Jun 30, 2005)
Aphex Twin is awesome. And so is this picture! It's good to know that many people here so far listen to good music and use it for inspiration, too! I like how it's monochrome and it really does stand out.
hideyourface (Jul 11, 2005)
god, that video is demented. I love aphex twin, as well as squarepusher. hotttt stuff.
LisaAnne (Jul 12, 2005)

If I say "yes", they'll probably hang this out front again.
Alter.Native (Oct 14, 2006)
I'm reclaiming my point! ;) Had to put this one on the map again, just because I think it is superb in every respect!..And..forget the inflatable version..I want a stone-carved one with rum shooting out of the nipples..
R. (Oct 15, 2006)
The Mock Marble Rum Dispenser is $ 49.95 (excl. postage). It hasn't been our strongest selling version, but I knew there would be a market for it. |

Maester Seymour Guado from Final Fantasy X. Huzzah. This pic is basically a test... I'm trying to draw the pic step by step. (Stick figure, wire frame, smoothed out, etc) I hope it turns out okay... Edit: Aya! It's slightly cuter style Seymour! EDIT 2: Omg. I'm not out of space!!! Yay! Any suggestions for a background??? (something that would draw too much attention away from the main pic???) Somehow... I'm guessing I'm out of space...
Gigandas (Apr 14, 2004)
It's Seymour^^!I used to think those dragon tattoos Seymour had looked like chest hair in-game for some reason^^;.It just looked 'that' unclear and strange....but you definitely defined it better so that we can tell it's actually a tattoo ;).Great job on the clothes and the staff^^.Details are a good thing.Makes it more interesting and gives the viewer a feeling into wanting to look at all the little things. But then I like complex pics over simple ones so....maybe it's just an opinion^^;.But hey, nice work and hope you get it finished.I say, that you deserve more room on this....><
evil_cloud (Apr 14, 2004)

I just looked at this again and noticed what it was. I really love plain pencil drawings like this. and the colours go really well together.
Cianteed (Jun 29, 2005)
I knew what it was right away ^.^ Nice perspective!
R. (edited Jun 30, 2005)
Judging by the positioning of the furniture, this could be a feng shui thing.
ambermac (Jul 5, 2005)
thanks all. R., ai ai ai, you said it, mister. this moving business really has thrown off all my feng shoes, for sure. i forgot to draw in the $200 worth of paper boxes blocking the flow of the apt's meridians. |
