I think it should be in the beginners. Or maybe stay here, depending on what it looks like finished.

when you finish the sketch, you should draw on a lyaer above it, with pen, and make the lines smoother. Then erase the sketch and fill in the colour on the layer beneath the pen lines. |

watercolour isn't really great for lineart like you've done. It's a good picture, but I think would be better done in regular anime style.

It's good, but it's not realism. Heh. It's actually anime, in my opinion. Use a ref. to help make your art more realistic if you want.It's a good anime pic though. The shading and the strands of hair are a nice touch.

i never said it WAS realism.. just the closest i've ever gotten to it.. i can't draw anything thing other than anime and animals, which is sad ~_~ i dont even think im going to try realism.. i'd get too frustraited@_@

Well, I was looking at the original, and there are some obvious changes that need to be made. First off, I have an issue with stretching peoples faces in one direction. I'm not sure why this happens, but it does. I'll work on him again later.
