Darkling (Dec 6, 2005)
Not done at all....kind of a spur of the moment thing. Black guidelines are layer 1, if they won't delete I'll just erase the picture. I was thinking of a prairie backround; no ref used.

pretty... thing is the left back leg should bend back a little more and the face is too thin.. otherwise you draw horses beautifully.....i love the muscle-work you have going.
Felistorm (Dec 6, 2005)
I actually love this one so far. Face looks fine to me but that is just me. Kinda looks like the horse is looking away. I will be watching on this one. :) Would love to see it finished. I have yet to of played w/ the layers feature. I kinda keep going over mind until Iget them to the shade I want. Need to try it out though.

We went out for beers and a couple laughs
Knowing full well that every bad joke that Jimmy told, might be his last
So we laughed like the world wasn't at war
Said things to him we'd never said before
And he teared up as he held up his glass
He said, boys if i dont make it back

Have a beer for me
Don't waste no tears on me
On Friday night sit on the visitors side and cheer for the home team
Drive my camaro
90 miles an hour down Red Rock road
with Born to Run blasting on the radio
And find someone good enough for Amy,
who will love her like I would have
If I don't make it back

We said Hey man now that ain't gonna happen,
don't even think like that
We know you, you'll pull through without a scratch
He pulled me aside in the parking lot,
said Amy and me were gonna tie the knot,
you're my best man, just wanted you to know that
Just in case I don't make it back

If the good Lord calls me home I'd like to think my friends will think
about me when I'm gone

Well Miller Light ain't my brand,
but I drink one every now and then
in his honor
And we ain't missed a home game yet
Had that camaro at 110 on Red Rock road
when the speakers blowed
And I introduced Amy to a friend of mine from Monroe,
he's a good ole boy
But you know,
she just ain't ready...

It's really cute. What pretty big eyes. I also like the watermelon flesh, and the hands, and the lighting on the face . . .

It's an interesting style with the bold outlines. I'm not sure what that is in the bg, wreckage?Good stuff.
Kloxboy (Dec 5, 2005)
Nice line art and coloring. Rock it out.
Punky (Dec 6, 2005)
Nice lineart, its nice and smooth. The color combination is great, and I enjoy looking at his ear.
Good job, as usual. :]

Sweetcell (Apr 25, 2006)
Love the colors you used, wicked cool pic.

If you need a backgroud maybe find a picture of an old building and sketch that in. This reminds me in a way of Oliver, probably more because of the costumes and that boy....

I'm jealous of your ability to do pencil here. Not just that it really looks like pencil, but the actual drawing skill. I can hold my own, but you have a way with the pencil stuff, let alone when you do those soft washes. Brill.
Kloxboy (Dec 5, 2005)
What Dan said but minus the "Brill" and holding my own. He must get all the chicks with a tie like that.
davincipoppalag (Dec 5, 2005)
Another great one Joe.

(-_-); This took such a long time..I was distracted a little..Anywaaays..as you can see, Bakura has cat claws (duh, because he a neko)..I drew and colored in Marik really good..But I didn't do Bakura that good...Oh, and, Marik is making a face like that because Yami Bakura's..humping him..and Yami Bakura's claws are kinda hurting him..

Well you sure rose to the challenge on those folds Ken. Jeebus. I agree with Staci..that frayed stuff is amazing.
Gigge (Dec 6, 2005)
Very nice. I really like how it's fall instead of the usual winter. Reaping harvests happens in the fall. You did very nicely on the folds for someone who finds them difficult.
thesolarwinds (edited Dec 6, 2005)
im in love wit his cloak... the folds are awesome.
Punky (Dec 6, 2005)
You just made my day.

Great colors, I especially enjoy that background.
