my computer started to slow down so i saved it before it crashed

well...ok how do i get it so that wen i color it..it won't cover up the black..i tried the mask thing like i did before but then it won't show anything? help! any one?!

Okay, lemme guess: The layer with the lineart on it isn't transparent? You can try Flood+Erase, it's worked for me before...

I think that hiding a drawing till it is finished is a habit, not a creation. You can copy creations, but not habits. Not even styles can be copied, habits and styles are shared. So, noone is copying off Hakkai by doing it. I even did it once because I didn't want to show what I was drawing until I finished. But Taori and VisceralVamp (I think) outsmarted me and looked at the animation. >:)

-edit- Left cheek looks odd, I know... I think it's because in the ref pic he was leaning on his cloth-covered arm, and I wasn't sure how to draw that. So craptasticness ensused. Enjoy.

this turned out to be a keepable/submitable sketch out of many, used to have alot of hair. turned him into a ninja. this is a practice piece for cell shading, the angularity/sharpness to the look helps.

going nowhere right now... the eyes are shaped terribly so i decided that pupils wouldn't really do it since i don't want to redraw anything at this point.
