whoa... It really didn't take that long. I was doing a lot of stuff. This pic, is basically a story i was writing about a fire fairy *however you spell it* and this is her waking up in the morning. her name is aidan. which means one of fire. :) c and c plz! |

safety first (still working on it now though)edit: ooooo my computer is trippin' out and i'd rather be safe than sorry. edit:more safety edit: WHOOPEEEEEE!!! i'm finished!!! i thought i had lost my drawing *relieved.* i wanted to practice perspective, male anatomy, and shadow and light...it looks alright! yes, i'm quite happy with this. i think the blur kinda got lost while coloring the background...oh well. ^-^ rosalyn:: no!!! dont wake him up!!!!!! added shadow like method3 suggested. better? |

yse, Marienkind, simon and garfunkel easily qualify as good music, as well as the beatles, of course. there are lot's of great modern artists as well, like Jeff Buckley and Mike Gordon, but Hendrix is one of my favorites (not too unsual). Henrix and Vaughan...

EDIT: well, as for suggestions: the girl's right arm seems a little short. you could either lengthen it a tad OR make the wrist and hand slightly smaller so it looks like her arm is stretching away from the 'camera'. the rocks could be cleaned up a little, and since the sky is so red, it wouldn't hurt to add a little glow to the rocks and the clouds. the clouds could use a little touching up around the edges... the smudging looks nice, but I think you could make the clouds look even nicer if you used a very transparent brush and went over the edges of the clouds. the sky... looks great. it doesn't look natural with those smudge effects, but i like it like that...
edit: sweet! thanks for the tips. i'll fix it up when i dont work. her left arm *the arm on our right* is like behind her head, like stretching. kinda like scratching her head? lol. but thank you!! *hugs*
