(Feb 1, 2004)Due to many posts by fellow members and a very polite memo I've decided to stay however the time being many of my posting times will be sporadic due to my schooling schedule and future work time as well. I've recently purchased a tablet, therefore cutting my duration time in half without affecting the quality of my work. However...On a side note due to a post I've recieved recently and to prevent the pointing of fingers I'd like to say a few words. I don't mind comments or critisizm, in fact I accept most openly for further suggestions for improvements in my works. I do NOT however like point blunt statements such as refering to my work as "crap." C&C is meant to do one of two things, 1: praise the work, 2: add suggestions. By any means down talking ANY work belonging to ANY artist here on 2Draw is unaceptable behavior. Let's face it, no body here likes to see their work refered as such so let's keep those thoughts to ourselves, eh? ~Thank you

(Feb 3, 2004)OKay there are several reasons why I can't draw as much as a use to. Most of it is school and the mailn reason....* blushes*...is above. He just wants me all for him self and won't let me touch my computer. Hopefully i can lock him up for 5 hours and draw a really nice picture for once. ^^

Great sense of style. I originally wondered why it wasn't posted in intermediate in the first place. ^___^ You're off to an awesome start. Can't wait to see it finished!
     rot-k (Feb 4, 2004)

Wow! Thanks for moving my draw to the intermediate board, you've just made my day! Ok I'll go and finish it now. Once again, thank you so much! Here it is, I hope you'll like it. I need to work on my shading and hair texture, but basically I'm satisfied, and I'm starting to understand how to use the layers! Thanks again for allowing me to finish this pic, and thanks to all the users who bothered to explain how to use the layers ^___^

     Sotalean (Feb 2, 2004)

Yeah I know... it's kind of plain.. *shrugs* Maybe I'll revise him later. *ponders this*
     Look (Feb 3, 2004)

I think it'd prefer him have some clothes on... just so it's not plain. but the same time, he looks hot this way. ;)
     staci (Feb 3, 2004)

he'd be hotter if he had some nips. (or one) do shirtless anime have nips as a rule?

(Jan 14, 2004)This is my very first oekaki. hehe.. it's actually not as hard as I thought. It's just strange using only three or two layers...
     marcello (Jan 17, 2004)

you might like lascaux sketch better then, it has unlimited layers
     Sotalean (Jan 20, 2004)

Heh... You use one layer per color or area. One for shading.. one for higlights.. one for the inked version... one for details... one for metallic details.. yeah..
     Soshell (edited Feb 1, 2004)

i've tried to use lascaux sketch but i seriously dont get it...plus im pretty sure you can get more than three layers on shi painter and i dont need more than that..i dont think i've used more than four layers ever.. oh and nice pic btw :)
     Sotalean (Feb 3, 2004)

But I don't usually use this program... or... for that matter any program that's run off of the net. I like to use Photoshop 7.0 and I go for details. The outline... I've never done an outline on the computer before except for on this program because you can't upload them. Otherwise.. I would. Meh.. *shrugs* I'm not a really big fan of this program but it keeps me busy during Computer class.
