I love seeing your art in color!!! I like the different textures here!! The roughness of the fur, the shiny metal, and soft material add awesome contrast and you've tied them in to work well together!!!

Another try... not as nice as my previous one... but the funny thing is... this horse is related to the horse in my previous drawing! HA! It's beautiful so far (so wonderful to see so many lovely horse portraits.) I would say definately that the snout is too short. In the ref it's longer and thinner. Just lengthen it a bit. I did so many of these on paper when I was younger. If I ever get the nerve I'll try one here.

I really like this- it reminds me of how people's faces look in night clubs with the colored lights shining on them. It's funny sometimes how even in a crowded place like a club people can still manage to feel isolated- she seems to portray that to me. |
