Here's a bizarre coincidence... I was watching that HBO series, Carnivale on dvd. I decided to get up and get something to drink, and paused it. I didnt look where it ended up pausing. When I came back to it, this is what was on my screen...

I just so happened to pause it right on that still.... it was a quick shot as the camera passed over them, but I happened to catch it right there. I had seen your painting before, and that just blew me away.

I have been friends with xiau since i came to the site. We have alot in common, and ironicly, we were both inspired by the same "how to draw rainforest animals" book when we were kids. So since it's valintines day and soon to be her birthday i drew Bunichi :) Happy birthday Rina! i hope you like it D:

On the thumb It looks like a helicompter light gliding over a psychodelic colored palm tree. This shows a lot of expression.
