Oooo. I love the way you've mixed the desaturated tones of the hat and her skin with the supersaturated colours of her lips, her kimono and the background. The hat is *ahem* well, dammit, amazing. Love the tension in the chin strap/skin and the way you've just managed to hide her eyes from the viewer...so we're always trying to peer up under the edge of the hat. Critiques? Hmmm. That gorgeous bouncelight underneath her chin makes me wish there was a tiny bit of shine on the skin of her cheek. But's that nitpicking. I love this.

It's insane how much subtle texture is in the skin here. I can't begin to imagine how to do this with lascaux sketch, and it'd still be incredible regardless of the medium.

My new charrie~

Her name is Archer, and I'm in the process of writing her story. I wanted to get this quick pic done before I started on request and finished some long-standing collabs (so sorry!! >_<). There are a few changes in her character design than what I had originally done (it can be seen here), such as the addition of gloves, and a change in eye colour. I didn't even want to try to put the crest on her chest, so I left that part out.
And as for anatomy, my apologies again, I cannot draw hands for the life of me >_<, so please don't point that out.

I really like this picture, but I don't think it's "Advanced" quality, so if a wonderfull mod could move it to intermediate, it would be greatly appreciated. ^_^
