Well my goodness, I was wondering when you were going to post another one of your fabulous draws. This horse is quite wonderful. But sheesh, couldn't you take your time on these draws???? Just cranking them out! tee gee,,,thirteen hours.....what patience you have. He is truely amazing Aakyra.

Oh my god. This is fantastic. I don't know if you did it on purpose or what...but this has the slightest surreal quality but at the same time this ...thing comes through that makes it so very real. The eye is my favorite part...and the colors...wow. I would have commented on your first horse but I wanted to see if it was a fluke. Guess not.

Considering equines are actually the hardest animals to draw, I have to say that I'm quite impressed. Love the expression captured and the articulate rendering of the head. Very active piece you achieved here with the triangular composition!

Oh WOW . . . this is truly magnificent Aakyra. I loved your drawings at SketchFU but my goodness, the tools here obviously suit your talents much better! Without the lag and (hopefully) the risk of loosing your work, I can see why you came here.
Did you draw from a photograph? I rather think not, as this drawing conveys much more than a mere snapshot in time . . . I love the "Don't mess with me!" expression.

Thanks Meno! Gel-o! It was really fun... working through this peice. I think I may try Photoshop CS2 soon... I have seen some great work done with this program. This is definitely a great way to work through a composition... gives me a much better feel for what might work with traditional tools. As always, I appreciate the nice words, support and encouragement!

I have found a new me drawing on the sites we are on, this helps me so much and now my every day draws on other programs are showing what a success this is.
