very intesting. Simplistic and yet not. It really does look like it has the reflective light thing going on underwater. This is cool. :D I like the effects and colors.

So pretty! Ironically enough, I just saved a pic I came across that's quite similar to this! Is this effect achieved by using the sharpening tool and maybe some texture & burn?? I like the first version you uploaded too. It's like layers of colorful winter blankets! I love your use of color! =)

thanks to you all! Elly, I didn't use the texture tool at all. I did burn and sharpen and used the difference tool as well, and the gradient tool. I LOVE playing with the tools! (as you can tell!)
