Receiving comments is very helpful. Other peoples input can be very eye opening. As long as it isn't rude of unrelated. Luckily I haven't had rude remarks on my drawings, or I was so stupid I didn't even notice they were rude. :D
I think one baby stapled to ten trees is worse. But whenever a staple is involved, it is always bad.
Speaking from experience, (accidentally) stapling in your own finger isn't very smart or pleasant.

I don't get the problem? Why do you bother looking at the half-assed drawings? Just draw your good stuff, look at the stuff you consider good.. you can tell by the thumbnail whether it's worth viewing. .and don't worry what other people are drawing.. they're probably just kids anyway. I rarely look to see what board a drawing is done on. Couldn't care less.

The problem with doodles is there is no intent to improve, just a desire to pass the time. So when you say anything other than "hey AWESOME draw!!" to a doodler they get bent out of shape. I don't speak for His Greaty Lordiness Marcellololol, but in my eyes 2draw should be for artists, not bored people.

When there is a larger ratio of artists to doodlers, people start getting more honest with their critiques because there is less chance of an amateur asshat getting up in arms over someone pointing out their mistakes. Conversely, when there are too many doodlers the comments become nothing more than a big dumb back-patting party. 2draw isn't a low-self-esteem support group.
