thenek you all!
visceralvamp, i used the density slider with the freehand spraycan to get that effect.
the density slider is that little vertical slider to the right of the box that tells you what colour you're using...
(i also set the brush size to 1 by 40, i.e. very tall and thin, i find this gives a different effect than using a regular circular brush shape)
the colors are absolutely gorgeous. the lineart is wonderful. the BG looks like its running. this is a beautiful pic, and i love it. very straightforward, eh? ^__^
Like... WOAH! THIS IS SOOOOO LIKE... totally... uhm... awesome! I love it to pieces!!!!!!!! I wish that I could draw as good as some of you people... I don't have any skill or talent at all! @_@
People have been saying this looks like a dinosaur or dragon, but I think if it were to be classified as a creature, it's closest to a minotaur.I don't know why, but I kinda wanted to mention that^^;.But about the picture, it's really well done in my standards.Did you use a ref. pic for this or was it out of your imagination...?
holy shit.... amazing piece!!!! this is friggin brilliant! I love your method of coloring.. so shiney.... the little blue and green lines in the background suck though... oh well... congrats on showcase!
