No, there is nothing terribly wrong at all. I think maybe you have enlarged your right eye (left on the screen) (possibly the inner rim of the lower eyelid is too wide). I think you have the rest of your features and the proportions down quite well. (you're cute as a button, too. :)
Haha, even without looking at the ref again...this looks like you.
But if I do look at it, the biggest problem I see (and not even too big at that), is that your nose is a bit too long here and the angle is a bit too far to the left, I think. Only speculation about the angle though, so first thing I'd try is shortening the nose a tad. If you compare the amount of cheek there is between your nostril and the eye, I think you'll see what I mean, assuming you don't believe me :P. Even small improvements like that usually will help the portrait to look more like someone so it's definitely worth a shot :). Good luck with that. I think you're doing awesome so far.
It's not an exact duplication of the photo, that's true, but you definitely got the emotional impression of it. I like the painting better than the photo. (when I saw the thumb I thought it was a British actress...does anyone ever tell you that you look like someone?) I'm really enjoying your work and watching the progression of your skills.
Ok, DBA... I think you're right. I tried making my eye smaller before, but I dunno...I'll try again. And thank you. :)
Thanks, Dave ^.^
Hmmm...Gig, I'm going to try that nose thing...If you watch the animation you'll see that I moved it to the side once already - it looked even weirder before, but the shortening thing is a good idea. Thanks.
Thank you, Rosemary, thank you Maiko, thanks Axil and thanks darkshadow, you're all very sweet :)
Hmmm - people sometimes tell me I look like Alexis Bledel...(Rory from Gilmore Girls) Thank you so much - I'm enjoying watching myself progress too. It's funny because before I got a tablet, I was so afraid of color and I told everyone I was terrible at it. It's so freeing and fulfilling to be able to practice something and get better at it each time you try.
lol Cloxboy...yeah, looks like it. Thanks :)
this is great Pseudo.....and remember, if any parts come out that you're not happy with, you can always use that burka trick ya came up with (although I am sure you won't have to with this one). :-))
this is looking great so far! I love the eyes. If you can keep up that realism throughout the picture, it's going to be fabulous! That's the hard part...at least for me! Get to a point and ya just want to slap it all together and be done with it. Great job! Can't wait to see it done! and bravo on the self portrait...one of the hardest things to do, I think
Hey Pseudo, I've figured it out, all you have to do is bring the chin down to a bit more of a point and maybe adjust he lips. Everything else is fine, I was looking at them side by side and noticed it. Very cute picture! :)
this is lovely and you are, too! I think you've done an exceptional job so far!

I want to say...
Thank you everyone. I don't know if I should keep going with the thanking each person separately, but I feel sort of obligated to because you're not only complimenting my work but my actual face. But I guess it gets annoying after a while. :) So for everyone who makes/made me feel special by giving me a beautiful compliment, I thank you.
Yeah, y'know I think I like it this way better. :P
Actually, I really want to finish this and I keep coming on and debating whether or not to, but I really don't have time to dedicate towards it because my homework has gotten really whelming. Overly whelming. So yeah.
