~~PuFFeR~~ (Sep 3, 2005)
Ok, I am finally finished. The reason I drew the Grim Reaper is because it symbolizes death. I find that the scariest dreams are the ones where someone dies.

Welcome to the internet. We are not supposed to sugarcoat crap for you. Time is no excuse for the quality of this picture, have you given more thought into it. The amount of work you put into it is lacking, for all I know you just made a sloppy picture of 'death' (which in itself is a generalisation of a natural nightmare, human and animal alike) and let it sit there for a hour before you submitted it. This is not of intermediate quality, and the description does not live up to the contest rules and guidelines.
Also, proper grammar is appreciated, and a certain level of maturity I might add.
I would appreciate it if you let people have fun with these contests instead of trying to make people feel bad about their submissions.
I just make myself look more of a asshole when I do it. :DDDD
Im not trying to just say bad things, Im just critiquing. I guess to make this picture better would be to have drawn the outline of the body first, and then the cloak ontop, allowing it to fall naturally over the body and change it a bit if theres wind and movement. Using a picture of real skull would help with the details on his face. Also, making a more dynamic pose would make the picture more appealing. Oh yeah.. SHADE.
hideyourface-If you knew a thing or two about art, you'd know that not everything needs to be shaded to have more sense of quality.
I also just noticed, this is still even unfinished...! You really shouldn't be judging a piece before it's even done...
As for the picture, I think she did a nice job. It's actually pretty cute, but that might just be what a 'scary' theme contest needs. To have some irony :).
