Oh, awesome, Cianteed. Really nice. The coloring style is really smooth, yet full of detail. Really nice emotion in the character. Good job on the mouth and teeth. :) I want to see this finished.

I think a blue bg makes the face glow more. cooonnntttrrrraassssttt much?

Hmm, I think the blue does work better than the yellow especially for some contrast for the yellow on his cheek. But if you really want the face to stand out, I'd probably go with a somewhat greener background since his face is reddish (complimentary colors). It might also help in keeping from blending in with his jacket. Looks good in any case. Very nice use of skin tones :).

You Cianteed are a genius!!! He looks so real! And the first sketch is not ugly to me, it is a very good sketch!! ^_^ I love the highlighs of the sun on his face.. I kinda like the yellow background alittle more but it looks good this way also!!! Awesome job here!!!

Woah very very awesome Cianteed, I think the title goes good. Congrats on showcase! I've listened to my CD so much it�s gotten scratched, and now I need a new one. V.1 isn�t ugly, I like it and I really like v.2, it looks like it�s been done in watercolors. I will now have scar tissue stuck in my head the rest of the day :D
