It's a lady. Yes, I used a reference.

Started this about a week ago. Figured it was 'bout time to get it outta the studio.

It's only a few weeks since you said you couldn't do faces ... and now you can do this with one of the most famous faces in the world. It's beautiful, Anna, a great pic, I love it. Are you going to try Mrs Thatcher next? http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/health/4086319.stm :P

Heh, this turned out pretty well too.I think I especially like how well you did with the hair here.I dunno if you're looking for any critiques seeing how you mentioned you were trying to get this "outta the studio," but just in case you're up for a couple I can see, the nose looks a little flat on her right nostril getting carried away with the heavy dark shadow and the black line around her lips is too consistent even if it is just make up.I'm just taking a guess here, but I think what it looks you did for the nose was that you drew that heavy shadow without drawing the entire nose first, when in fact it'd be easier to do the other way around. As for the lips, if the black line is part of the make up, then the lighting on her face could change the consistency of the darkness of the line accordingly with the curves following her lips.Just small suggestions for your pieces to come.Trust me, you're doing an awesome job and I want you to keep it up.Nice work as always :).
