Anyhoo, anime is a now popular art style from the east to the west.

What attracts you to anime? Is it the best art form in your opinion?

No. I prefer music over anime. I also prefer having toothpicks jabbed through my pupils over anime.

I have to say I think well done Anime ok, but the Spam Anime that load up so many drawing sites really is overewhelming.

hentai attracts me to animae. I agree with davi, it is way overdone these days. Don't get me wrong, I do lke some animae, It just seems like soooomany people are only doing that now, and ..hell even at my job, someone did the poster for our employee Christmas party and it has 2 animae girls on it, ugh! the pain.

I like anime but It is far from the best form of art. I like when people mix their style with the Disney style, I ony seen 2 or so people do this before, but It was the best looking style I have ever seen. I prefer Manga, there much better than the cartoon versions.
And I like cartoon styles colored in water color.

I love anime, but I agree that its way overdone....I myself am not the best artist, but its really all I can draw. (and enjoy drawing)

i in all reality am not a very big fan of anime, but i must admit i do like the type of drawing. its different. i prefer realistic though, which is my ideal type of drawing for me... i'm just not sure how to draw like that one this site yet...

At one point, I really disliked anime. However, there are a few artists out there who draw it very well.. and I like their art. (i.e. tattered_wing, hakkai, etc.)

hmmm lets see i do like anime but i think the population of 2draw likes anime and manga alot..hehe(thats just me)

Anime shows are.. indescribable. I'm attracted to their artistic values, but the plots can kiss my flabby bum.

As of yesterday, I'm trying to develope a style that won't look too.. anime-ish. Because my anime style sucks that way. -thumbs up!-

I think some anime are nice and some are bad, just like cartoons made in USA and most other countries. Hentai is nice of course, hehehehe...

i love the anime style because that's what i started drawing with. :D when people tell me i need to learn to draw something else i get really offended. :( and i don't like too much anime shows... they can be really corny! ^^" but some are really nice! :D

I like most anime cartoons because they are corny. I enjoy watching any corny cartoons , I find them somewhat funny. I started drawing with the anime style when I was like 10 years old , but i guess i kinda grew out of it. I don't think any artist should limit themself to one particular style of drawing.

Anime is just so different from all other cartoons. It's just so creative and unique... and it's just so cool!(but it didn't really originate in Japan, in fact, the style actually started with Walt Disney, ie: big eyes) But of course, they changed the style and enhanced it so that the animation would look more captivating. This is why I think Japanese animation is a lot better than North American animation.

Im a anime lover. Anime done good is really good, but there is alot of crappy stuff running about. Please take a look at movies like Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke and the likes before you decide to dis anime.

Not that I'm saying that anime is an easy style but I think it's the easiest to start with. I started drawing this summer and I began with anime and it's some difficult stuff but other styles are more challenging to get the hang of.
