i used a reference for his collar...just to see what style he wore.
then i knew i had to add a price tag, but id forgotten they looked like this i guess, so i looked at several renderings of his hat and this seemed to be what was written most often.
it says: 'In this style 10/6.'

awesome! Great job wit the hat. Just make sure to add that fried hair to him as well. I love Alice in Wonderland. I even got that scary game of it for my computer. I also did an oil painting of my own version of the Mad Hatter last year and he came out to be a hot bishie (hot pretty boy) lol.

I'd have to say that the fact that the viewer is Alice, given by Alice reflected in the tea pot, is my favorite part of this piece. The rook seems like its not sitting quite right in the background...dunno what it is but it seems a little off, but then again this IS wonderland after all, it's SUPPOSED to be wako, I mean what do you expect from a guy who was writing while he was doped up? ^^ Very nice job on this picture
