I love the depth and color in this, it's alive, it's moving and it's not a photo copy. (at least not yet, I hope it still looks like a painting when it's done)

Lovely. Very nice, energetic representation of Madge..so much life in it! The thick black piece of hair by the bottom lip looks a little odd, as does the bit on the chin, as all the hair around it is so well defined. But apart from that, great work..and all in 3 and a half hours!
Too bad ya didn't do this in oils on canvas, she'd prolly pay big bucks for it, and she's got 'em. You did a wonderful (gloriously wonderful, I might add) job of capturing the essence of her.. the energy & the beauty of her energy. Yay!

The hair is absolutely awesome. I'm afraid to say it doesn't look THAT much like Madonna but it's great all the same. She does look quite like her if you know it's her but I didn't recognise her at first until I saw the title. Good job!
Doesn't look that much like Madonna? Melissa, where do you get these ideas? It looks exactly like her. Lord, your realize if it didn't it wouldn't BE in Showcase? I'd very much like to see your version of this. Especially considering it was done with a mouse.
