I think when I do the small, dark, detailed stuff it doesn't come out as well computer generated as it would on canvas, but it sure was fun doing it on this applet, anyway.
Woah, looks exactly like the Riverwalk! I've been there plenty of times. Just one tiny suggestion; maybe add a few ducks because everytime I've been there, there have been a bunch of ducks squawking. Hehe ^____^ The waves are so beautiful and the lighting on them cast by the boat's lights are lovely! Great job!
Very nice^^.Lots of details for the audiences to look around at XD.Never been to Texas, but kinda makes me wanna go seeing this.Yeah, I'm in CA...^^;.And yeah, I had that trouble too when I submitted Neo.It got rough around the darker shadows for some reason...
i like the water, and i like the lights, and i like the reflection of the lights, and i like the parasols, and i like the legs of the people sitting at the tables under the parasols and i like the trees and i like the bridge and i like the columns of the bridge in the water and i like the railing. hmmhm. its all nice. today i was going through some OLD paintings and i saw some that reminded me of your style. you ARE very painterly(word of the week).
oh and u got some kinda patience. 16 hours? whew! i get so bored after three : (
wow dba. this one is so amazing. awesome work, awesome colors, awesome water...yea. all round awesomeness i can always tell just from the thumbnail which ones are dba pieces...wow*picks jaw up from floor*
like everyone above said plus I can't wait for your next one! Guess my favorite part is the candles on the boat and their reflections. you definitely have your own flavor and style...makes me envious.
Lol @ Icats. Yall are just too nice to me. I know my perspective might be off on some stuff, because I struggle with it so, but everytime I was there (at the Riverwalk) Jose Cuervo took me sight seeing so stuff really looks kinda wompey. (:D)
I want this on my wall in a nice beautiful frame to match...please! No kidding DBA...this is just...too stunning. I'm glad you're here to share your talent with us, truly(I for one would miss the hell out of you), but seriously...shouldn't you be working on real paintings and becoming a famous arteest...?(remember? You're real pics are even more fantastic than these...)
You're sweet Laurael. :) This is just so new and fun... I have to drag out all my paints, I get it in my hair, get loopy from sniffing turpentine (lol) This is so unmessy! (And the best part is sharing it immediately and getting to enjoy everyone else's art.)
WOOHOOO! Yay for San Antonio. I know this was drawn MONNTHS ago. but I was lookin' through your work and as a fellow Texan.. I HAVE to comment on this. ;) Looks just like it, DBA. Great job
