just wanted to post and see if anyone had any suggestions before i go too much farther and totally kill my space limit. particularly concerned about how to get the rain to look real, and to get her to look like shes looking down. ok, thanks.

There should be some splashes in the water barrel/pot from the raindrops, and add a few unblurred raindrops (though slightly transparent and maybe heavily antialiased, new layer, of course.) Other than that I wouldn't know... Maybe some water running down her skin, but that can run into some pretty fine detail; Overall, lay off the blur tool.

But this picture seems to be pretty well done, nicely composed, all that. Nice idea (The reflection is a LITTLE strange, but nmot horribly so)

yes ..splashes and a little more sharpness overall..particularly in the reflectionl.(add some cross squiggles after..in the reflection) otherwise she already looks like shes looking down.. I like this idea.. nice

Weird, I submitted a really long comment, but after all that it wasn't even posted^^;;;.Oh well, I'll explain it in short.I think Harmayne has got the most part of it, but i wanted to say you might want to shorten up the lines of the rain down to 1 pixel and keep all the rain color the same.I like the colors you used and the water in the well-like thing she's looking into^^.Hope you can use some of our suggestions^^.I love it so far though>v<.

I think only a few rain drops, like it is beginning to rain, with concentric ovals in the reflecting water barrel, would look much more cool if that will not ruin the emotion you are going after. Just a thought :) btw thanks for all the positive comments on my stuff!

It's finished^^.Very nice as I knew it would turn out.I guess you made a decision to leave the rain a bit like the way it was. It's still cool, I mean because it's like how you draw rain so I have to give you credit for being original about it^^(Hey, nothing has to be a certain way in art, only advice could be of some inspiration, yeah?).And I'm blown away by that brick well there*dies*.Too awesome for my eyes to be staring at><.You overdid yourself, dixie.I'm gonna be staring at this for awhile :).*starts now*

You did a lovely job on this Dixie, I especially like her hair and the reflection.
