Why the fuck do you new people insist on posting absolute rubbish?
IT'S CALLED SPAMMING! THATS RIGHT! IM TALKING TO YOU, rikurules and rockergirl25!

ky (Dec 23, 2003)
They obviously don't read all the rules.

After deleting six comments this morning and more last night, it is concluded that you people (mostly the new people) just need to read the rules. It's spam and a w.o.b. to post shitty one worded comments. I would give you guys a link to the rules, but you guys really don't deserve it. Find it yourselves.

If you're just dense and you need examples of 'shitty comments', here they are:
"That's cool." "Kool" "It's cool" "Awesome ^_#" "Omg. So cool." "Great." "NICE!" Etc.

Also, not everyone is destined to be an artist. I think the n00bs are just cranking out this shit to pass the time between breast feedings. I really don't see any other reason why they would seriously think that 10-13 minutes is "forever", and that they would even bother to post what they're posting. They just don't care about becoming artists.

I want to get breast feedings....

Plus ditto to all that. Not that I really think saying so helps. Eh well.

I'm not too sure if you should be pointing fingers BumSegs, i mean look at your last picture in comparison to rikurules.

_BumSegs_ (Dec 23, 2003)

Instead of complaining about the n00bs why not do something about it. Post a link to the rules in a comment box for their pic; seeing as how they all seem to be under 14 i dont think they quite understand how to navigate the site. Why not start a rule for 30 mintue pictures? with anything under 30 mins getting deleted? Or if that doesn't work limit the number of pics they can do a day untill they get better at it?

Im just flinging ideas around, my sister is one of the people u say is spamin.. i took her a side and told her to read the rules and she asked me a WHOLE bunch of questions because she didn't quite understand them. Maybe like her they dont understand, being 10 and up i doubt they have the adult understanding that we all seem to have (that and i know they think their art is good*again sis*) and from the looks of things not catching on to you guys.

why not pm all these people that are bothering you with their art, and tell them what their doing wrong.. best if its from one account, that way they know >.<, but please dont bash them.. Im sure they envy you even look up to ur art.

I've browsed lots of sites like this, and no one seems to give beginners a chance to draw, not like you guys.. This site is the best one outta five ive been to!

So why not help them out a bit, give them a chance to learn the program, learn the mouse.. im sure im not the only one that was really horrible when they first started, i still thank the people that helped me get better.

**if you want id be willing to pm them, id just need names**

I don't think anyone under 15 should even be allowed on the site without taking some sort of exam.
  icon
furyofroy (Dec 24, 2003)
It's too easy to lie over the internet, But I'm pretty sure we'd be able to get a rough idea of what age they are by their conduct and drawings. An exam sounds like a good idea. It's completely original, too. :)

Juna. I did.

I'm new and I'm 13 and so far I don't think I have done anything wrong. I don't spam and if I post a comment I actually put some thought into it. I dunno, I don't think you should judge people from their art because you may think it's not that great but it might be some of the best work they've done and they try. Not everyone is a great artist overnight, they need practice and that's what they are doing. Anyway, I'm going to stop now.

Obviously not everyone who's under 15 is at fault (and probably some over 15 are), and when I say that I'm mostly joking.

But the exam could be clever it could have questions like: You see this picture posted what do you do:
a) post "OMG ROX0rz!!!!111"
b) post "kool"
c) post "r u 2 c00l what?"
d) post nothing
e) post other [ ]

Ky you did? Well then, i guess they really are trying to push buttons... I'm sorry, i tryied to give them a fair chance. -_-; stoopid me

I agree with Marcello that not everyone who's under 15 is at fault, because I am 9, and I think my drawings are improving and are actualy better than some drawings i've seen by 13-15 year olds. I think I pass the exam already Mr. Cello... Heh. ^_^

-edit- I noticed that most of the people who posted here are all the ones who have eperience in drawing. I noticed this post right away, I would guess at least one noob would see it. Maybe they have, and they're just afraid they'll get *burned* if they post something stupid (that at first they think is smart, until they get *burned*.)

Hmm... I kinda like the idea of having a limit to how much you can submit (Submit! Not DRAW) depending on points or something, but that'd still be a little odd...

And some people under 15 are okay :) I'm getting better! Really I am!
