Ugh, that's terrible. Those would be the crhistians that go by the bible, word for word, no buts about it. People who are THAT religeous, and can't accept other people because their little "holy" book says it's wrong, I think need to either find a new religion or friggen lighten up.

I'm a Christian and the meer fact that he/she is urinating on a cross to defile it is very offensive to me. Let it be known, being a christian does not give any authority to any person to judge anyone. What that so-called reverend did was down right anti-christ. He has no right to condemn that homosexual, plain and simple. God will be the judge of that. I also do not agree with homosexuals, and yes, according to that Holy Book that I abide by, they do have their punishment, but God is forgiving and willing to help those who struggle to fight against their debased ways, for this matter or any other.

yes yes i know doodlibop.. i said i have nothing against christians in general, and to each their own if youve read it and honestly believe in it. as long as nobodys hurting me i dont really care. and in this case this ministers being a moron. but i dont mean to start a debate. i dont mind what anyone believes as long as they dont push it on me or it interferes with my rights. blah blah.. yadda yadda.. etc.

I'm kinda torn about this subject.
I'm a Christian, but I really have nothing against homosexuals. I do think it's wrong, in a way, but if a person chooses to be like that, let them be. I still think that Phelps is a dick....And to put this monument in a city park is bullshit. I'd pee on it too, if I was a guy :/

I would like to point out for a start that this is a drawing website and not a mass-debating posse where we debate about topical controversial issues. Some of the comments ive read this evening made me sick! I'm christian so fuckin what! I have a few friends who are gay and other ways inclined, so what? Just coz im christian doesnt give me the right to say its wrong, i have no problem with it at all, i actually couldnt b hap[pier for them atleats theyre not pretending to be someone theyre not! You people that have made comments on here from some moral high ground coz your christians and dont believe in it and think homosexuals are wrong etc etc should be damn right ashamed of yourselves, a religion doesnt give you an excuse to persecute or hold prejudices! that my dear friend is being very unchristian! So get your head dislodged out fo your ass, take a look around, see no ones impressed by your opinion and live in the real world and start being a real christian and excepting people for who they are!
