The texture in the background is done by just filling it a solid colour, than going over it with one lighter and one darker colour with the diffusion and the opacity set really low :)

Wel,the girl on the cover's name is Yuna, and she meets a lab experiment named Tsukashi..and they fall in love etc. etc. And Yuna's best friend hates her because she loves Tsukashi and than there's Dante and all that kinda crap.Then there's mini-comics in it called "Pretty Bot Ice-Cream" which has to do with NOVEMBER93 and I's unhealthy love of slightly girly looking JRockers. :3

I was going to use mone's water lilies as a ref. This pic was so fun and great that it made me forget about the ref right after the grass..when came to upload it, I looked at the ref and saw the lilies. d'oh!Something i started quite sometime ago. All i did now was color and the bg, but i'm hoping to add something else to it lter, looks really unfished lol. And yes, i do know the lineart sucks, i might try to make it better later. :)

whatamessI was thinking while I was painting this about how I keep my oil paints in a big tackle box and I would always squeeze the tube wrong and the seam in the back would break or the tube would get a hole in it and while I was painting I'd get all engrossed in what I was doing, squeeze the tube to replace a color I had run out of, and paint would squirt out from 3 different directions and then I figured, why bother putting the lid back on, and throw it in the box and then the tubes would stick together and dry up. I wonder if anybody else is that sloppy.
