Oh. My. God. Very adorable! I love your painting style... This is very realistic, especially with the details of the eyes and the textures of the fur and... Gaaah, everything :D The nose is love as well :D

it took a while, but i finally DID IT! mozl tov (<--i dont kno how to spell it) This was sorta based off.. nothing... no reference and no idea at all. i just sketched out a girl, and then a horse body too. strange how that happens... ENJOY!!!

she's tilting her head down, and i didn't want the wing to look realistic. i drew her how i draw other centaurs, and this is the actual clean one. if you saw my 'wolf', that was the first time i was on here, and it sucks big time. i am a beginner with the computer, but i am alot better by hand. i just dont have a scanner, and i haven't been on long enough to practice with bigger things... sorry. :\

You may say she's tilting her head down, but it still doesn't look proportional.And really, there's not much of a difference between drawing online and on paper. So please, quit the excuses and grow up. Was I ever this whiney? Geeze...

Lord, P4L I'm not being a bitch, really, but if you keep insulting people like this for a few things they say your not going to make a good impression. Wboyer is right, the face does need work. Make the eyes smaller and higher on her head, and the lips smaller and just go over the hair with a solid color on low low opacity to get more of a difference of shading. Note, it's a good picture, much improved but learn to take the crtique as suggestions, not a means of putting you down. |

Every once and a while I work up enough courage to try something bigger than I usually draw. Mostly they never get taken off hidden and then get abandoned half-finished. I'm un-hiding this one because I like it enough to try to force myself to finish it. I FINISHED IT!

hope you dont mind a little constructive criticism... *ahem* ok. well, you should try to improve your understanding of the mucsular and bone structure and proportions of the face to better position the facial features, because this face looks rather alien. mostly due to the eyes. The inner eye looks unnatural and should never have black outlines in it even when drawing in an anime style. Showing an understanding of these things in your work is more impressive than being able to draw a clean line.

Well, actually, mikhail... I believe that the proportions demonstrated here are part of vigilante's style. Even though the construction of the face does appear alien to our sensibilities, that may be just what vigilante intended. I actually can see nothing wrong with the start of this picture, other than the fringe on the forehead (don't make the same mistake I did in the past, and don't draw hair like banannas :D that's what a friend of mine told me hair in that style looks like XD). Really, one should only comment on disproportion and inequality in the features of a drawing. This drawing seems pretty proportional (and therefore asthetically pleasing) to me, so it's only a matter of personal taste that's in question.Whee, ah yuz beeg wurds! lol.
