I like this but it looks unfinished. The scribbly lines (especially on the face) look like a preliminary sketch and the thing looks imcomplete.

love this Laura, I may have this same lady, but with a different pose. I just love the Carnivale of Venice, and I have tons of pics that I want to do when I get brave enough, lol. Some are quite intricate and I may just do them a bit at a time. Love the colors and the playfulness this has. One day I would love to go and witness this festival for myself. ah one can only dream, in the meantime we can draw and paint and make us believe we are there...:D |

For some weird reason, I've never noticed that the contests ended in PST... but now that I have noticed, it's made me strangely happy o_O;..Yeahhhhh I'm not the dragon drawing type of person.. I like to draw pretty things :P.

Sorry Sweetcell....this is staying as is, it is as it was intended. I had the ground exactly as the ref pic was and decided I did not like it, and I changed it to this contrast from the photo.....I happen to like the bird realistic and the ground more sketchy....thanks anyway! |
