The first time you linked to a site with pictures of them, I got freaked out by the thought of a little harlequin baby crawling towards me, stretching out its crusty little hand, its deformed mouth gaping.... *shudder*

This is really awesome. It reminds me of some stuff done by this lady called Ursula, she has an online gallery at www.metalandmagic.com. Anyways she has a picture with some creatures in it that look like this. I thought you might be interested in checking it out sometime. And yes, this thing is pretty scary.

I recommend oekakibbs. It's more straightforward and it has the pen tool.

Not bad for a first picture. Pretty good coloring on the skin. Still, I think you might want to work your way up to intermediate. The face shapes are a little off, you should practice with layers, and the coloring on the girl's hair needs work. Hope this helps. Have fun on 2draw!
